Sirloin tips on the Eagles’ menu

The East Palestine Eagles, 320 E. Taggart St., will hold a drive-thru sirloin tips and noodles dinner on Wednesday. The menu is sirloin tips and noodles, coleslaw, roll and dessert for $10 or $9 if over 65 years of age. The sale runs from 4-6 p.m. or sold out. Pre-order by calling 330-853-8483. People will stay in their cars. Someone will be outside waiting to deliver the meal.

Lisbon sets hydrant work

The Lisbon water department will be flushing fire hydrants beginning Tuesday west of Market Street from Maple north to Saltwell Road. Water customers may notice short periods of lower pressure, and some discoloration is possible in and around the areas where work is occurring. People are asked to refrain from doing laundry when flushing is taking place in your area.

Drive-thru flu clinic planned

Salem Area Visiting Nurse Association is hosting drive-thru flu clinics from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. Monday through Friday at 718 E. Third St. in Salem. People will receive a vaccine without getting out of your car. Call 330-332-9986 when you arrive in the parking lot and someone will come to your car. Please wear a mask. The cost is $25. The agency will accept Medicare Part B as payment also. Bring your Medicare card with you. Check the group’s Facebook page for updates on availability of the vaccine.

EP charter board seat is open

East Palestine Mayor Trent Conaway will be accepting letters of interest for the village charter review commission. Anyone interested may mail their letters to P.O. Box 231 or email to m.martin@eastpalestine-oh.gov. Letters of interest are due by noon Nov. 6.
