Band will film video at SCT

SALEM — Vampires and other creatures of the night will invade the Salem Community Theatre on Oct. 24, a full week before Halloween. The rock band Glass Alice will be filming a music video for their next single, Gravity, inside and around the outside of the theater.

The band is also seeking audience extras that may appear in the video.

Glass Alice hails from nearby Youngstown and chose the Salem Community Theatre due to the support and resources being offered by the theater, its members, and several of the local Salem businesses. The band consists of Mike Hermensky on vocals and guitar, Eric Albenze on lead guitar and drummer Jon Ski.

Glass Alice released its latest album, Bitten, on Sept. 14. through Super Delicious Records.

The filming will be taking place most of the day on Oct. 24, and the extras will be needed from 3 p.m. until the end of filming. Social distancing and masks will be in effect.

Those wishing to participate are asked to email glassalicemusic@gmail.com by Oct. 22 to advise the number in your party. Participants are also encouraged to wear their favorite goth/vampire/creepy outfits or Halloween costumes, complete with face makeup, or at a minimum dress in all black.

The group also will be helping with fundraising for the SCT.
