Work smarter, not harder

Bill Nelson, president of the Highland Creek condo association in Salem, was dreading the labor intensive task of inspecting roofs and potentially clogged spouting on 76 condo units. A task that always had been completed manually. This time Nelson’s 10-year-old grandson Brogun volunteered to use his keen tech skills and his sophisticated drone to easily determine which units required attention. Within minutes Brogun had diagnosed what once had taken days to weeks of climbing ladders. During the project a group of neighbors were spotted enjoying conversation while adhering to the rules of safe social distancing. According to his grandmother Vickie, Brogun has spent much of his summer studying and learning about technology. He also mows lawns to earn his own money to buy the latest gadget. This little entrepreneur paired with his drone could possibly start a little side gig, she wrote.
