It’s hot

Morning Journal/Tom Giambroni

The time and temperature sign at the Huntington National Bank branch in downtown Lisbon says it all. The sign registered 93 degrees as of 1:30 p.m. Friday, which is usually about 2 degrees higher than the actual temperature. It likely reached 93 degrees by 3:30. Columbiana County is in a mini-heat wave, with temperatures expected to reach or exceed 90 degrees for the next week.
