Drive up for a penne pasta meal

The Drive-up Banquet in Salem is being sponsored anonymously from 5-7 p.m. or until the food runs out Monday at the Memorial Building. The menu: penne pasta and meatballs, green beans, tossed salad, fresh vegetables, fresh fruit and dessert. The line begins behind the Memorial Building; do not park in the library lot. Return to school plans on tap

The Lisbon school board will hold a work session from 9 a.m. to noon Saturday in the high school auditorium to discuss plans to return to school in August. The public is invited to give its input.

Washingtonville meets Mondays

Washingtonville village council met this week for the first time since April, when the COVID-19 pandemic prevented meeting in person due to the governor’s shelter at home order. At its meeting that month, council designated Fiscal Officer Dale Davis as purchasing agent for necessary expenditures. Council agreed to change its meeting dates to 6:30 p.m. the third Monday of each month at the community building.

ELO church planning yard sale

St. Stephens Church, 220 W. Fourth St., East Liverpool will host a three-day yard sale featuring antiques and collectibles next week. Times are 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. July 16 and 17 and 9 a.m. to noon July 18. For more information, call 330-383-3749.
