As part of Child Abuse Awareness Month, colorful pinwheels were placed in the Lisbon square in front of the county courthouse representing the 508 reports of child abuse or neglect investigated by Children Services last year. Due to COVID-19 the annual Kyes Home Dinner, which supports the Caring for Kids program, was canceled.
