SRMC opens office in Damascus

SALEM– In an ongoing effort to expand local access to primary care services, Salem Regional Medical Center (SRMC) is announcing the launch of its new primary care practice in Damascus, which will include walk-in appointments during regular office hours.

Opening Feb. 24, SRMC Primary Care – Damascus will offer a full range of primary care services for patients of all ages, including preventative and wellness care, sick visits, chronic disease management and health education.

Located at 28885 U.S. Route 62 next to Damascus Friends Church, SRMC Primary Care – Damascus will be open 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. Mondays, Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Fridays. Walk-in appointments will be available during regular office hours for those with a variety of minor illnesses or injuries.

Family medicine physicians Maria Ryhal, M.D., Stephanie Raynish, M.D. and Vidya Counto, M.D. will be accepting new patients at the Damascus office. In addition to seeing patients in Damascus, Dr. Raynish will also continue to see patients at the SRMC Internal Medicine Center in Salem; and Dr. Counto will continue to see patients at the Columbiana Family Care Center in Columbiana.

In April, nurse practitioner Gabrielle Dickerhoof will join the Damascus staff.
