SCPD toy drive

Morning Journal/Julie Riedel

The St. Clair Township Police Department held its fifth annual toy drive on Saturday. The department had members collecting toys in front of the Walmart and the Dollar General stores near state Route 267 and state Route 170. Toys will be brought to the East Liverpool Elks to hand out to area children on Christmas morning. “We do it every year to help area children have a good Christmas. We feel if everyone helps out a little it might make a difference in someone’s Christmas,” said officer Chris Davis, the toy drive organizer. From left are Kenny Delposen of Calcutta Towing, Chief Brian McKenzie, officers Troy Walker, Kim Nusser, Santa, Josh Jackson, K-9 Noras, Davis, Jake Hayter and James Briggs.
