Bigfoot weekend

CALCUTTA — Join Friends of Beaver Creek State Park, and Bigfoot researcher, Amy Bue, for a fun and informational weekend focusing on Bigfoot! The weekend starts with free camping at the group camp, off Sprucevale Rd., on Friday evening, and will continue through Sunday morning, with activities shifting to the Pioneer Village. Campers must provide their own tent, gear and food. Sunday morning begins with a hearty pancake breakfast at 8 a.m. featuring buttermilk, and blue corn pancakes, sausage links, and a variety of beverages. Cost is a suggested $6 donation, however, the first 50 donating $10 for each breakfast will receive a wristband and will get early seating for program of speakers. A nationally known lineup of Bigfoot experts will speak on Sunday from noon to 5:30 p.m. in the red barn. There will be vendors on site all day. Bigfoot Returns to Beaver Creek t-shirts are available for $15 each or 2 for $25. For camping contact Bigfootamy@gmail.com. It is suggested to arrive early for breakfast to allow plenty of time to eat before the speakers begin and to browse through the vendors. Lunch will also be available.
