Two Branch candidates out
YOUNGSTOWN — Two candidates for West Branch school board are off the November ballot.
The Mahoning County Board of Elections this week removed Stacey Aldridge and Zach Martin from the November ballot.
Aldridge, who led the community’s levy committee in May, was disqualified for failing to sign and date the declaration of candidacy on her nominating petitions before obtaining signatures.
Martin did not have enough valid signatures, finishing with 22 of 25 required.
The ballot will now have three candidates running for two spots on the board, incumbent Mikki Kanagy, Aaron Hawk and Bryan Hobbins.
