Quaker City Castings representatives on Wednesday presented monetary donations to the Salem City Schools on behalf of the company and Gezo’s to help teachers, parents and students in need of school supplies at the request of company owner Joe Korff. Quaker City Castings donated $5,000 and Gezo’s $500. Schools Superintendent Sean Kirkland said the money will be split among the five school principals for their activity funds that provide for extra expenses.
