New JFS director

Rachel Ketterman, deputy director of the Columbiana County Department of Job and Family Services, has been promoted to the top job by county commissioners, replacing longtime director Eileen Dray-Bardon, who retired after 40 years with the JFS. Ketterman has worked for the JFS for the past 16 years, starting in the Children Services division, where she was promoted to supervisor and then department director in 2008 before being named JFS deputy director in 2017. She earned a bachelor’s degree in law enforcement from Youngstown State Univerity. Originally from Leetonia, Ketterman and her husband, Jason, live outside of Lisbon with their son. Ketterman is flanked by commissioners Tim Weigle, Mike Halleck and Jim Hoppel.
