The Leetonia St. Patrick Catholic Church annual pierogies sale is nearing an end, but there is still time to make a purchase. The church is offering the homemade pierogies through April 14, with pick up scheduled for 1 to 3 p.m. Wednesdays and Fridays and after Mass on Sunday. Flavors include potato and cheese; potato, cheese and jalapeno; potato, cheese and bacon; and sauerkraut. They are sold by the dozen only at $6 per dozen. Orders can be placed by calling Suzanne Tobuck at 260-458-7147 between 9 a.m. and 6 p.m. daily. Volunteers have made over 18,000 single pierogies so far, according to Tobuck.
