Following a recent decision by the East Liverpool Community Improvement Corporation to grant an $80,000 loan to Ron and Nicole Wolfe, the check was presented by city officials this week. The Wolfes will use the money, funding from a USDA grant, to start Nikki’s Mini Mart, a grocery store on Dresden Avenue. The Wolfes will repay the loan over six years at 4 percent interest. The CIC has $19,000 remaining in the USDA grant to loan for other business ventures. Shown at the check presentation are (from left) Mayor Ryan Stovall, Mrs. Wolfe, CIC President Patrick Scafide and Executive Director William Cowan.
