LISBON — Rebecca Dyke, 32, Sixth Street, Wellsville, was served recently with a secret indictment issued by the Columbiana County grand jury in 2021 for aggravated possession of drugs, a fifth-degree felony, for allegedly possessing methamphetamine on May 11, 2020.

Municipal

LISBON — In Columbiana County Municipal Court, Devon Bragg, 23, Chester, W.Va., was fined $990 and sentenced to 180 days in jail, with 179 days suspended and credit for one day served for falsification, obstructing official business, improperly handling firearms in a motor vehicle, driving under suspension, license plate light, left of center and failure to display valid sticker. He was also ordered to complete 50 hours community service.

During a traffic stop on Columbia Street in Leetonia on June 23, Bragg carried a loaded rifle with multiple rounds and a round in the chamber in the back seat of his pickup and knowingly misled police to believe he was someone else when asked multiple times to produce identification and refused to answer questions truthfully about himself or his address. A charge of receiving stolen property for allegedly having a rifle stolen from Trumbull County in his possession was dismissed.

A pretrial was set Oct. 18 for Perry Wayne, 55, Youngstown, charged with engaging in prostitution and possessing criminal tools for allegedly soliciting sexual conduct in exchange for $120 from an undercover Mahoning Valley Human Trafficking Task Force agent and then coming to East Palestine for the meeting on July 4 with his phone and money.

A pretrial was set Oct. 18 for Michael Tack, 51, Niles, charged with engaging in prostitution and possessing criminal tools for allegedly soliciting sexual conduct in exchange for $50 from an undercover Mahoning Valley Human Trafficking Task Force agent on a website and arriving May 20 in Columbiana for the meeting, allegedly after leaving his sex addiction recovery session. Tack was indicted in Columbiana County in November 2021 for engaging in prostitution, compelling prostitution and attempted unlawful sexual conduct after responding to an undercover ad on the same website in August 2021.

James Miller, 44, Harper Avenue, East Liverpool, was fined $250 and sentenced to 180 days in jail, with 170 days suspended and 10 days left to serve for domestic violence for punching a woman in the face during a dispute at a residence on Y & O Road.

A pretrial was set Aug. 15 for Levi Vollnogle, 27, Columbia Street, Leetonia, charged with domestic violence for allegedly biting his wife, leaving marks and bumps on the back of her head and grabbing her by the neck, leaving red marks on her neck and shoulders. He also allegedly punched the door in the house.

A pretrial was set Aug. 11 for Courtney Orr, 31, state Route 45, Leetonia, charged with assault for allegedly grabbing a female inmate and punching her at the county jail on Aug. 1.

Thomas Phillips Jr., 49, South Egypt Road, Salem, was fined $665 and sentenced to nine days in jail, with credit for nine days served, for operating a vehicle under the influence of alcohol or drugs, driving under suspension, a turn signal violation and no seat belt. His license was suspended for one year. A charge of drug paraphernalia was dismissed. Phillips allegedly possessed a pipe with burn marks and a digital scale during a traffic stop on June 15, 2021 on Teegarden Road.

Mary Elizabeth Kiehl, state Route 558, Leetonia, was fined $1,180 and was sentenced to 26 days in jail, with credit for 26 days served for endangering children, OVI, speeding, no license, no seat belt and driving under suspension. Charges of drug paraphernalia and possession of marijuana were dismissed. Her license was suspended for one year. During a traffic stop on Jan 27, 2021 on Lisbon Road in Salem Township, Kiehl had a 4-year-old child in the vehicle, admitted to smoking marijuana and was found under the influence of alcohol or drugs. The suspension charge stemmed from June 22, 2021 traffic stop in Columbiana.

A pretrial was set Oct. 31 for Leslie Dawn Wilson, 56, Bell Avenue, Columbiana, charged with OVI first offense, driving while under the influence of alcohol or drugs and left of center

A pretrial was set Oct. 18 for Robert Kuhlman, 23, Manor Circle, Columbiana, charged with OVI first offense and speeding.

A pretrial was set Oct. 18 for Mohamed Nahshal, 21, Youngstown, charged with possession of marijuana paraphernalia for allegedly possessing marijuana drug paraphernalia in Salem on July 30.

A pretrial was set Sept. 8 for Frederic Ludovici, 63, New Cumberland, W.Va., charged with speeding.

A pretrial was set Oct. 6 for Todd Williams, 33, Cleveland, charged with driving under suspension.

Juston Buskirk, 43, Petersburg, was fined $40 for failure to control

Ethan Redmond, 32, Lakeview Drive, Hanoverton, was fined $100 for an equipment violation, amended from speeding.

Christopher Papic, 45, Elberon Avenue, Salem, was fined $150 for driving under suspension.

Sadie Walker, 22, East Taggart Street, East Palestine, was fined $150 for driving under suspension.
