EAST LIVERPOOL — Timothy A. Potts Jr., 34, Louise Avenue, has a pretrial date set for 10:45 a.m. Aug. 20 for using weapons while intoxicated, resisting arrest and disorderly conduct – offensive/inconvenience/annoying/alarm. A surety bond of $1,250 was filed.

Michelle D. Whaley, 51, 54 Madison Avenue in Salineville, was found guilty of speeding and was fined $50. A review is scheduled for 1 p.m. Sept. 30.

Jeremie M. Landfried, 38, Sprucevale Road, has a pretrial date set for 10:45 July 26 for domestic violence. $5,000 personal recognizance bond was filed. He is allowed no violent contact with the alleged victim.

Victoria M. Flores, 19, Milton Street, was found guilty of speed and fined $50.


LISBON — In Columbiana County Municipal Court, a preliminary hearing was set July 7 for Charisse Munyon, 37, West Clark Street, East Palestine, charged with three counts of telecommunications fraud and one count of possessing criminal tools, all fifth-degree felonies. Munyon allegedly used her cell phone to defraud the non-profit organization Community Concerns to pay First Energy bills at her residence, entering the account number and routing number from the group’s account, without authorization from Barbara Lynch, on March 14 for $50.88, on May 6 for $197 and June 8 for $182.

A pretrial was set July 5 for Jacob Simmons, 21, Rose Drive, Lisbon, charged with domestic violence for allegedly causing physical harm to a juvenile family member on May 16 on Rose Drive, Lisbon, by allegedly striking the victim multiple times with a closed fist, pinning the victim against a wall and pushing a long ice scraper pole into his throat, choking him, then pinning him on the ground on his back and squeezing his hand’s around the victim’s throat, choking him.

A pretrial was set July 7 for Sean Corbett, 21, North Lincoln Avenue, Salem, charged with assault for allegedly attempting to harm a victim on June 26 at a residence on state Route 172, Lisbon, by hitting the person in the head with a golf club. Bond was set at $25,000 cash or surety and Corbett was ordered to have no contact with the alleged victim.

A pretrial was set Aug. 29 for Ashley Miller, 32, Freeman Avenue, Lisbon, charged with illegal use or possession of marijuana and a tail light violation for allegedly possessing drug paraphernalia, including a mirror with white residue, a hard plastic straw believed to be used for smoking crack cocaine and a metal crack cocaine pipe during a traffic stop on April 20 in Columbiana.

Michael Garlough, 20, High Street, Leetonia, was fined $390, ordered to spend three days in jail and ordered to complete 50 hours of community service for operating a vehicle under the influence, marked lanes and underage consumption related to a traffic stop on April 24 in Salem Township when he possessed two unopened beers. A charge of possession of marijuana was dismissed.

A pretrial was set Aug. 1 for John Watson, 36, state Route 7, Rogers, charged with OVI first offense, improper/expired registration, operating a vehicle without a valid license, no license and no seat belt.

A pretrial was set Sept. 8 for Patrick Noon, 37, Lowellville, charged with driving under suspension and open container related to a traffic stop on June 24.

Jeannie K. Raya, 37, Academy Street, Salineville, was fined $250 for using unauthorized plates.

Paul D. Smith, 59, Case Road, Beloit, was fined $1,200, sentenced to 90 days in jail with 83 days suspended, and ordered to serve seven days in jail, ordered to complete 20 hours of community service and be evaluated and treated for substance abuse for OVI, operating a motor vehicle without a valid license, improper/expired registration, no motorcycle endorsement, and failure to control.

Jennifer A. Beyer, 43, North Beaver Street, Lisbon, was fined $150 for speeding.

A Sept. 1 pretrial was set for Corey Ketchum, 33, West Pine Lake Road, Salem, charged with insecure load.

An Aug. 15 pretrial was set for David J. Mobley, 42, Dellroy, charged with ficitious plates.

Justin K. Grant, 33, Cleveland, was fined $75 for a temporary tag violation.

Brianne L. Trump, 30, Columbia Street, Leetonia, was fined $180 for driving under suspension and a seat belt violation, with a charge of using unauthorized plates dismissed.

David Firestone, 62, Kelly Park Road, Leetonia, was fined $150 for operating a motor vehicle without a valid license and improper/expired tags. Kia Sierra Clemmer, 24, state Route 154, Negley, was fined $280 for driving under suspension, no seat belt and no child restraint
