LISBON — Anthony J. Antonas, 41, Poland, pleaded guilty to domestic violence and trespass in a habitation, each a felony of the fourth degree. Antonas faces up to three years in prison and a $10,000 fine. Sentencing is set for Sept. 19. On May 18, 2020, Antonas harmed Cheyenne Cooper and trespassed into a home.


LISBON — A May 23 preliminary hearing was set for Justin Pasco, 34, Canfield, charged with handling of a firearm in a motor vehicle for allegedly having a Glock 48 9-millimeter handgun with a loaded magazine of defense rounds. Pasco was fined $30 for a plate light violation.

A May 23 preliminary hearing and pretrial was set for Johnathon M. Weaver, 34, Bye Road, East Palestine, charged with failure to comply, a third-degree felony; improper resisting arrest, driving under suspension and obstructing official business. Weaver allegedly fled both by vehicle and then on foot, refusing to show deputies his hands and reaching for the waist band of his pants instead causing him to be tased.

Zachary X. Vescio, 22, North Beaver Street, Lisbon, was bound over to the grand jury on charges of theft and burglary, both fourth-degree felonies; OVI first offense, failure to control and a seat belt violation. Vescio allegedly entered a home on Quay Road in Middleton Township, took a set of keys and drove off in a 2006 Ford F250 pickup without the owners permission and then wrecked it into a tree on May 8.

Finley E. Miller, 40, Hopedale, was fined $600 and required 20 hours community service for engaging in criminal tools and engaging in prostitution for allegedly offering an undercover agent with the MVHTTF $120 for sexual conduct and driving to Salem to meet the agent on May 6.

Andrew Schry, 53, Cranberry Pa., pleaded guilty to engaging in prostitution and possession of criminal tools. A sentencing hearing was set for May 26. Schry had offered $140 in exchange for sexual conduct with a woman and arrived at the designated meeting location in East Palestine on Thursday.

A July 12 pretrial was set for Ernesto Sica, 18, Gambier, cited with OVI underage breath first offense and failure to control.

Rodney Palmer, 37, McGavern Road, Salineville, was fined $250, credited with a day served in jail and required 20 hours community service for disorderly conduct amended from domestic violence for pushing Tamra Palmer, his wife, out the door of the home and punching her in the back of the head in front of three children on May 3.

Brian S. Davis, Elkton Road, Lisbon, was sentenced to three days in jail and fined $500 for driving under a 12-point suspension.

A June 21 pretrial was set for Alexis Anne Jones, 30, East Main Street, East Palestine, cited with two counts of speeding, passing bad checks for allegedly writing a $300 check to the clerk of courts on Oct. 29, 2021, which was returned for insufficient funds.

Jonathan A. Burkholder, 39, Calla Road, Beloit, was fined $150 for driving under suspension.

Patrick Patterson, 42, Canton, was fined $30 for no license.

EL Municipal

EAST LIVERPOOL – A June 7 pretrial was set in East Liverpool Municipal Court for Jordan L. Belan, 23, East Liverpool Road, cited with OVI first offense and failure to yield when turning left.

A July 7 pretrial was set for Nicole E. Smith, 30, Chester, W.Va., charged with theft and criminal trespassing for allegedly failing to scan and pay for 63 items totaling $464 at the Calcutta Walmart on May 6, when she was previously told not to return to the store.

A May 19 pretrial was set for Michael Greathouse, 39, Valley Avenue, charged with petty theft, possession of criminal tools and resisting arrest.

A May 19 pretrial was set for Joseph D. Mason, 38, Y and O Road, cited with public intoxication.

Cassandra R. Manley, 34, Township Line Road, Wellsville, was fined $350 for driving under suspension and possession of marijuana.

A May 19 pretrial was set for Megan M. McBride, 37, Lincoln Avenue, cited with left of center, possession of marijuana and two counts of drug paraphernalia.

A July 7 pretrial was set for Bret A. Davis, 59, Ninth Avenue, cited with theft without consent

Robert P. Westlake, 48, Anderson Boulevard, was fined $30 for lighted lights required.

The following failed to appear: Trenton M. Gill, 19, New Cumberland, W.Va., cited with driving under suspension and speeding; Joni L. May, 39, Dakota Street, drug paraphernalia; Mackain L. Wallace, 41, Ephriam Street, tail or license plate light violation; and Deborah D. Dubray, 55, Strawberry Lane, failure to file application.
