EL Municipal

EAST LIVERPOOL – In East Liverpool Municipal Court, Thomas E. Dennis Jr., 43, Lincoln Avenue, was sentenced to five days in jail and ordered 10 hours community service for noxious odors, storage of furniture, endangering children and infestation and screening for housing violations at a St. Clair Avenue home on Nov. 9.

Housing violations against Dawnyelle E. Dennis, 40, Lincoln Avenue, were dismissed. She was ordered 10 hours community service for endangering children for a child living in the conditions involved in the housing violations.

Tia R. Miller, 32, Martin Avenue, was fined $525, sentenced to two days in jail and required 20 hours community service for drug paraphernalia, fictitious plates, improper registration and driving under suspension.

Brandon S. Myers, 47, Third Street, Wellsville, was sentenced to three days in jail for no license and driving under FRA suspension.

Brittney N. Cronin, 22, Wilbert Avenue, was required 10 hours community service, had her license suspended for 180 days, required to attend a three-day counseling program and fined $100 for OVI first offense and improper backing.

A May 26 trial was set for Julie A. Underwood, 44, St. Clair Avenue, cited with drug paraphernalia.

Larry O. Foster, 66, Toledo, was fined $275 and sentenced to 15 days in jail with credit for seven days already served for drug abuse instruments, drug paraphernalia and driving under suspension.

Tina Tennant, 61, Bolivar Road, Wellsville, was fined $100 and required 40 hours community service for two counts of passing bad checks for a check at Giant Eagle for $504 on Aug. 26, 2021 and $31 on March 3, 2021.

Trey I. Shields, 22, Lincoln Street, was fined $150 for no license.

Casey R. Carter, 30, East Liverpool Road, was fined $130 for no license and failure to control.

Municipal

LISBON — In Columbiana County Municipal Court, a preliminary hearing was set May 12 for Daniel Keller, 31, Spaite Drive, East Palestine, charged with a third-degree felony of failure to comply with the order or signal of a police officer.

Bond was set at $50,000 cash or surety. Keller allegedly fled from troopers who approached his vehicle at Beaver Creek State Park campground regarding an active warrant on May 3, reaching speeds reported at 90 mph with a female passenger and passing several other vehicles before crashing into an embankment and surrendering. The female passenger sustained minor injuries and declined treatment.

A pretrial was set May 9 for Heather M. Davis, 31, West Oregon Avenue, Sebring, charged with aggravating menacing and domestic violence for allegedly threatening to kill her husband and saying she was going to get one of his guns and shoot him with it. At the time, they were in a vehicle her husband was driving on U.S. Route 62 on April 28. She was ordered to have no contact with him or any firearms.

Carl Moore, 43, New Cumberland, W.Va., had his case bound over to the grand jury for a third-degree felony charge of tampering with evidence, illegal use or possession of drug paraphernalia and possession of marijuana. Charges stem from a traffic stop April 28 in Columbiana in which Moore was a front seat passenger and allegedly had methamphetamine in a folded up area of his pants besides possessing a metal straw in his shirt pocket and marijuana and methamphetamine stuffed into his belt line.

Alec Berardi, 21, Coraopolis, had his case bound over to the grand jury for having weapons under disability, a third-degree felony, for allegedly having a loaded handgun in his possession during a traffic stop in Columbiana on April 27.

Justin Lamp, 44, Summitville, had his case bound over to the grand jury for a fifth-degree felony charge of breaking and entering for an alleged break-in at a garage on Knox School Road on Dec. 15, 2021.

Sean Scott, 34, Canton, had his case bound over to the grand jury for theft for allegedly stealing a woman’s vehicle on North Lincoln Avenue in Salem on April 6 and taking it to Canton.

A pretrial was set May 16 for Phillip Cline, 48, West Wilson Street, Salem, charged with three counts of theft for allegedly stealing from vehicles in the Salem Eagles parking lot on April 20, taking two cupholders full of change, a gumball machine full of change and a bag.

A pretrial was set May 12 for James Miller, 43, Y & O Road, East Liverpool, charged with domestic violence, for allegedly punching a person in the face on May 4 on Y & O Road, East Liverpool. Bond was set at $10,000 cash or surety and he was ordered to have no contact with the alleged victim.

A pretrial was set May 16 for Constance Adams, 32, Youngstown, charged with possessing criminal tools, soliciting and drug paraphernalia for allegedly posting an ad on a known prostitution website and arranging to travel to New Waterford on May 4 to engage in sexual conduct in exchange for $300. She allegedly had suspected cocaine and a crack pipe in her possession.

David Hall, 48, Boardman, was fined $750, ordered to complete 20 hours community service and take an online sex education course for possession of criminal tools and engaging in prostitution. Hall came to Salem on Jan. 15 after soliciting sexual conduct from an undercover agent posing as a female on a known prostitution website in exchange for $150.

Awais Safdar, 25, Boardman, was fined $850, ordered to complete 50 hours community service and an online preventing prostitution course for possessing criminal tools, possessing marijuana and disorderly conduct amended from engaging in prostitution. A drug paraphernalia charge was dismissed. Safdar came to East Palestine on Feb. 26 seeking sexual conduct in exchange for money after responding to an undercover ad on a known prostitution website.

Geoffrey Kale, 50, Youngstown, was fined $750, bought out 20 hours community service and was ordered to complete an online course on preventing prostitution for possessing criminal tools and engaging in prostitution. Kale came to East Palestine on April 7 seeking sex acts in exchange for $160 after answering an undercover ad posted by the Mahoning Valley Human Trafficking Task Force on a known escort website.

Shawn Zecher, 49, Youngstown, was fined $850, sentenced to one day in jail and ordered to complete 40 hours community service for engaging in prostitution, drug paraphernalia and possession of criminal tools. He was also ordered to complete an online sex education course. Zecher came to East Palestine on March 24 for an arranged meeting after responding to an undercover ad posted by a Mahoning Valley Human Trafficking Task Force agent on a known escort website requesting sexual acts in exchange for crack cocaine and powder cocaine he valued at $200. He had the cocaine in his possession along with the phone used to arrange the date.

Jeffrey Hartung, 59, Newton Falls, was fined $500, ordered to complete 20 hours community control and an online course for prostitution prevention for disorderly conduct, amended from engaging in prostitution and possession of criminal tools. Hartung came to Salem on Feb. 25 after soliciting sexual conduct in exchange for $100 during an undercover operation by the Mahoning Valley Human Trafficking Task Force.

Daniel Garritano, 64, Canfield, was fined $250 for disorderly conduct amended from engaging in prostitution, with a charge of possession of criminal tools dismissed. He was ordered to complete an online preventing prostitution course and bought out 20 hours of community service. Garritano had been accused of responding to an ad on a known escort website and requesting sexual acts and other activities in exchange for $80 and showing up for a meeting in East Palestine on March 1.

A pretrial was set July 19 for Jonathan Steele, 41, Hermitage, Pa., charged with engaging in prostitution and possession of criminal tools for allegedly showing up in East Palestine on April 21 after answering an undercover ad placed by the Mahoning Valley Human Trafficking Task Force asking for sexual activity in exchange for $60.

Ethan Dilworth, 25, Leetonia Road, Leetonia, was fined $500 and ordered to complete 20 hours community service for two counts of disorderly conduct, amended from assault and domestic violence. Dilworth was accused of pushing two women to the ground during a scuffle on Feb. 5 at a Leetonia Road property.

A pretrial was set May 12 for Kathryn Ratliff, 53, Youngstown, charged with two counts of drug paraphernalia for allegedly possessing a crack cocaine pipe and pink straw with residue used for inhaling cocaine during an incident in New Waterford on May 4. Bond was set at $2,500 cash or surety.

Deanna Donnadio, 33, Youngstown, was fined $150 and ordered to complete 20 hours community service for illegal use or possession of drug paraphernalia related to suspected crack cocaine and drug paraphernalia in the glove box of a vehicle in which she was the passenger and had the key to the glove box on March 11 in Columbiana.

Andrew Rice, 28, Lori Road, East Liverpool, was fined $875 for operating a vehicle under the influence and given credit for three days for a driving program, along with being ordered to complete 20 hours community service and having his driver’s license suspended for a year with driving privileges granted. A stop sign violation was dismissed.

Patricia Hall, 72, Goshen Road, Salem, was ordered to serve 10 days in jail for violating her probation for charges of physical control and physical control prohibited.

A pretrial was set June 14 for Mario Patterson, 43, Warren, charged with OVI second offense, driving under suspension and marked lanes.

A pretrial was set July 18 for David Harrison, 61, Duck Creek Road, Salem charged with OVI first offense and marked lanes.

Three counts of building maintenance violations against ATG Worldwide Inc. and two counts of the same charge against Adam Newbold, 47, West Lincoln Way, Lisbon, were all dismissed, with documentation noting that all necessary repairs to the properties at issue were all completed to the satisfaction of the Village of Lisbon zoning inspector. The properties in question included 24 Nelson Avenue and 125 E. Lincoln Way and dealt with paint peeling and the general condition of the building exteriors from accumulating grime and dirt. The violations against ATG and Newbold had been filed Jan. 12, 2020 after there was no compliance in response to letters sent in 2017, 2018 and 2020 regarding violations.

A pretrial was set July 19 for Laura Sanders, 56, Pine Hollow Road, Lisbon, charged with driving under suspension and traffic control devices.

Monique Jimperson, 29, South Main Street, Columbiana, was fined $200 for driving under suspension and no valid license.

Emma Heald, 24, Canton, was fined $305 for driving under suspension, no seat belt and two counts of speeding.
