LISBON – In county Municipal Court, Thomas Edward Oday, 52, Wexford, Pa., was bound over to the grand jury on compelling prostitution, possessing criminal tools and two charges of attempted unlawful sexual conduct with a minor. Oday is accused of arranging to pay $200 for sex with a 15-year-old foster home runaway and her 16-year-old friend in October.
A Dec. 6 preliminary hearing and pretrial was set for William Tyrone Wade, 35, Youngstown, charged with tampering with evidence engaging in prostitution and possession of criminal tools for allegedly offering a prostitute $100 in exchange for sex and offering to bring her marijuana when he arrived to meet her on Friday, then deleting the text messages.
Shaun D. Fetters, 42, Renkenberger, Columbiana, was bound over to the grand jury on charges of OVI fourth offense and OVI breath fourth offense.
A Dec. 2 preliminary hearing and pretrial was set for Frank Roger Marra, 37, Warren, charged with possession of criminal tools and engaging in prostitution for allegedly offering to provide an undercover officer heroin in exchange for sexual acts and agreeing to sell a friend of the female escort $160 worth of methamphetamines on Nov. 27.
A Jan. 3 pretrial was set for Seth W. Maniscalco, 44, Youngstown, charged with engaging in prostitution, possessing criminal tools and drug paraphernalia for allegedly soliciting sex for money from an undercover agent on Friday and bringing chore boy to use to smoke crack cocaine, as well as the phone used to set up the situation.
A Dec. 9 pretrial was set for Constance Eilene Adams, 31, Youngstown, charged with possessing criminal tools, soliciting and drug paraphernalia. Adams allegedly was advertising herself on a prostitution website and agreed to travel to Lisbon to meet an undercover agent for sexual services in exchange for $500. When she was taken into custody by an agent with the Mahoning Valley Human Trafficking Task Force on Nov. 23, Adams reportedly a had two crack cocaine pipes and a phone she used to make the arrangements.
A Dec. 9 pretrial was set for Linda R. Stuller, 32, West State Street, Salem, charged with weapons while intoxicated for allegedly placing her arm outside the window of a parked SUV and firing a loaded pistol in the 1200 block of West State Street on Friday.
A Jan. 13 pretrial was set for Ross E. Betts, 32, state Route 172, East Rochester, cited with OVI second offense and reckless operation.
Michael Ward Shatzer, 44, West McKinley Avenue, Minerva, was credited with 10 days in jail, fined $1,475 and had his license suspended for a year for OVI first offense, a taillights violation and driving under OVI suspension.
Jena K. Whittington, 18th Street, Wellsville, was credited with a day in jail, sentenced to an additional nine days in jail, fined $1,500 and required 20 hours community service for driving under suspension, drug paraphernalia and drug abuse instruments. Whittington drove at 90 mph on state Route 45 for about two miles while being pursued by a trooper on Nov. 18, before spinning out on Mick Road in Madison Township. She was later found with needles in a pouch in her bra and five capped syringes in her purse.
A Dec. 9 pretrial was set for Romen K. Bashline, 31, Richardson Avenue, Negley, charged with making false allegations against a police officer. Bashline allegedly posted on Facebook multiple allegations against a deputy claiming the deputy was involved in a relationship with a woman making allegations against Bashline. The allegations Bashline made were determined false and he allegedly admitted to posting it on Nov. 28 Sunday on more than 20 social media websites. Bashline is being held on a $50,000 cash or surety bond.
A Jan. 13 pretrial was set for Richard E. Williams, 67, state Route 39, Wellsville, charged with domestic violence for allegedly pulling Sharon Crawford by the arm down a hallway and into a bedroom, where he reportedly locked her in and refused to let her out.
Phillip S. Cibula, 37, Kirk Road, Columbiana, was fined $400 for possession criminal tools and disorderly conduct amended from soliciting for allegedly attempting to hire an undercover agent for sexual activity for $50 on July 9.
Allison Nicole Lemasters, 21, Malone Road, Salineville, was sentenced to six days in jail, fined $1,000, had her license suspended for two years and required 40 hours community service for OVI underage, a tail lights violation, speeding and three counts of driving under suspension
Jacob A. Gray, 33, Jones Drive, Salem, was fined $250, credited with two days in jail and required 20 hours community service for obstructing justice for claiming three times he did not got anywhere but from the Frola Motel to the Valley View gas station, when he was giving friends a ride from Salem, when he was found to have been elsewhere.
A Dec. 9 pretrial was set for Curtis L. Lodge, 28, South Howard Avenue, Salem, charged with possession of drug abuse instrument for allegedly having two syringes loaded with a liquid substance on his dresser on June 7.
A Jan. 20 pretrial was set for Alex D.M. Cook, 27, Crestview Road, New Waterford, cited with hits skip/leave scene, failure to reinstate a license and failure to control after allegedly striking a house on Taylor Avenue in New Waterford with a vehicle on Oct. 29.
Austin Michael Boots, 23, Church Street, New Waterford, was fined $250, sentenced to 90 days in jail for assault amended from domestic violence for headbutting Stephen Adams and knocking him back against the wall on Aug. 18.
Jimmie Lee Dubose, 46, East Third Street, Salem, was fined $250 for use of an unauthorized plate.
Joseph H. Hakala, 27, Kelly Park Road, Columbiana, was fined $200 for driving under suspension and speeding.
A Feb. 1 pretrial was set for Austin William Kimmell, 23, state Route 165, East Palestine, charged with OVI first offense and failure to control.
A Dec. 9 pretrial was set for Heather M. Leaf, 75, Cleveland Street, Salem, charged with domestic violence for allegedly scratching Wesley Clark on Sept. 6.
A Jan. 27 pretrial was set for Daitzel A. Moore, 28, Warren, cited with driving under FRA suspension.
Terry A. Hughes II, 41, state Route 154, Negley, was fined $250 for driving under FRA suspension.
A Dec. 2 pretrial was set for William R. Burkhammer, 34, Fox Chase Road, East Liverpool, charged with telecommunications harassment for allegedly sending threatening and harassing text messages to Lance Felger in June.
Andrew D. Steves, 38, Plymouth Place, Salem, for allegedly repeatedly punching the door at a Prospect Street apartment in Salem, leaving dents on Nov. 23 and threatening to harm Mason Dunham both in person and by text message.
Vincent Syvertsen, 34, West Chestnut Street, Lisbon, was fined $75 for marijuana paraphernalia.
A driving under suspension citation against William R. Swagger, 26, New Castle, Pa., was dismissed after it was determined Swagger had a valid Pennsylvania license at the time.
EAST LIVERPOOL — In East Liverpool Municipal Court, a motion hearing is set Jan. 10 for Aaron Stevens, of Fairmont Street, on city property charges of infestation screening (two counts), open areas, and exterior protection.
A pretrial is set Dec. 28 for Tia R. Miller, of Martin Avenue, for charges on driving under suspension, improper registration and failure to stop at a red light.
A preliminary hearing was set Dec. 30 for Phillip R. Cline, of West Wilson Street in Salem, on charges of theft and concealing identity of motor vehicle.
Zachary S. Tice, of Cleveland Avenue, was sentenced to $200 plus costs on charges of no operator’s license and driving under suspension.
Luke A. Morris, of Dairy Lane, was set for pretrial Dec. 8 on a theft without consent charge.
John A. Morris, of Hillcrest Road in Wellsville, was sentenced to $40 plus costs on a speeding charge.
