LISBON — In Columbiana County Municipal Court, a pretrial was set for Sept. 30 for Donavin Hanna, 30, Ridge Street, Leetonia, for two counts of domestic violence. He was ordered to have no contact with the victim or any residents of a Pine Street, Leetonia home. Hanna allegedly arrived at a residence on Pine Street, Leetonia while voluntarily intoxicated Sept. 22, started breaking items in the bedroom, came out and screamed at the babysitter that he was going to chop off the baby’s head and kill everyone at Etched in Stone Tavern in Leetonia. The babysitter fled next door to a neighbor’s home and he fled. He also allegedly attempted to cause physical harm to a woman he knows on Sept. 22 at Main Street and Elm Street, grabbing her against her will and throwing her to the ground, giving her a black eye.

Travis McDevitt, 20, Youngstown, had his case bound over to the county grand jury on charges of receiving stolen property and obstructing official business from a Sept. 14 incident in Columbiana. He allegedly fled on foot when police saw a tan Cadillac with no registration at the Quick Mart at Routes 7 and 14. The car still had paperwork from the dealer in the window and on the license plate. McDevitt was found hiding in a swampy nearby area and police learned the vehicle had been stolen from Martin’s Auto in Boardman.

Grant Adams, 20, South Lincoln Avenue, Salem, was sentenced to 30 days in jail starting Oct. 8 for a probation violation on charges of theft and criminal damaging from 2020 and also fined $1,155 for operating a vehicle under the influence, driving under suspension, lighting lights, physical control and underage consumption. His license was suspended for 30 months.

Jason Dotson, West Wilson Street, will face a pretrial Oct. 7 for substandard premise after pleading innocent to the charge filed by the city of Salem. The Salem Housing Inspector/Director had cited Dotson Sept. 16 for conditions at 356 W. Wilson St. for an unsanitary yard area, structural hazards and being a nuisance.

A pretrial was set Nov. 16 for Tricia Heasley, 50, Canfield, cited with operating a vehicle under the influence second offense, marked lanes and improper/expired registration.

A pretrial was set Nov. 4 for Alexis Vandepol, 30, South Middle Street, Columbiana, cited for driving under suspension.

Tara Black, 35, Chestnut Street, Leetonia, was fined $150 for wrongful entrustment.

A pretrial was set Nov. 8 for Brent Ellis, 37, Red Tail Drive, Leetonia, cited with speeding in a 70 mph zone.

A pretrial was set Nov. 9 for Eric Trenkelbach, 33, High Street, Leetonia, cited with driving under suspension.

A pretrial was set Nov. 23 for Philip Kelley, 32, North Lincoln Avenue, Salem, cited with no driver’s license.
