Municipal

LISBON — A July 22 preliminary hearing was set in county Municipal Court for Raymond D. Byler, 41, Middlefield, charged with attempted sexual conduct with a minor and compelling prostitution for allegedly agreeing to pay two girls, ages 16 and 15, $200 for sex on Monday.

A July 22 preliminary hearing and pretrial was set for Shane A. Burkhart, 33, West Main Street, Washingtonville, charged with improper handling of firearms in a motor vehicle and cited with driving under Fra suspension. Burkhart allegedly had a loaded pistol between the seat and center console of the vehicle on Monday.

Rachel A. Dunn, 50, McCann Road, Kensington, was credited with three days served in jail, sentenced to an additional seven days in jail, fined $1,125, had her license suspended for a year and required 40 hours community service for OVI first offense, left of center and failure to stop after an accident.

Travis Lee Miller, County Road 55, Hammondsville, was fined $1,250, had his license suspended for a year, credited with three days in jail, sentenced to an additional three days in jail and required 40 hours community service for OVI first offense, improper backing and no temporary permit.

William J. Wolfe Jr., 30, Park Boulevard, East Liverpool, was fined $925, had his license suspended for a year, required to attend a three-day counseling program and ordered 40 hours community service for failure to control and OVI first offense.

McKenna M. Boals, 25, Jupiter Drive, Wellsville, was fined $975, had her license suspended for a year, required a three-day counseling program and ordered 10 hours community service for OVI first offense and failure to control.

A Sept. 28 pretrial was set for Jeffrey Wayne Schreiber, 50, Maple Drive, Columbiana, cited with OVI first offense, no motorcycle endorsement, failure to control and reckless operation.

A Sept. 28 pretrial was set for Joshua J. Herbert, 23, Parkview Drive, Columbiana, cited with OVI refusal first offense and driving under suspension.

A July 19 pretrial was set for Hortencia Nava, 43, Lorain, cited with physical control, possession of marijuana, open container and possession of marijuana paraphernalia.

A July 22 pretrial was set for Michael A. Noble, 56, South County Road, Washingtonville, charged with domestic violence for allegedly striking his girlfriend, Lori Barber, on Monday.

Cordero M. Mason, 26, Canton was fined $500 and sentenced to 45 days in jail for telecommunications harassment and aggravated menacing for sending Emily Slepski repeated unwanted and threatening messages on Aug. 31, 2019.

Richard Allen Paul Braham, 22, West Park Avenue, Columbiana, was sentenced to seven days in jail and fined $250 for domestic violence for chasing Casey Mathes with a knife and making her believe he was going to kill her on Tuesday.

A July 22 pretrial was set for Randy L. Carnes, 36, Yeager Drive, Wellsville, charged with domestic violence for allegedly swinging his fists toward his father, striking him in the chest on Monday.

Tomasa De La Cruz Perez, 29, Cedar Ridge Drive, Salem, was fined $500 and ordered 80 hours community service for failure to control and failure to stop after an accident.

Aaron M. Teis, 33, King Road, Salem, was fined $400, credited with two days in jail and required 40 hours community service for obstructing official business and disorderly conduct. Teis allegedly was swearing profanities at the neighbor that could be heard inside the home and then refused to identify himself to police or come back outside when police were writing his citation.

Jeffrey Alan Falk, 46, Alice Street, East Palestine, was fined $300 and required 60 hours community service for two counts of drug paraphernalia.

Casey A. Mathes, 19, West Park Avenue, Columbiana, was sentenced to three days in jail and fined $250 for disorderly conduct for screaming continually as police arrested her finance, Richard Braham on Tuesday.

Logan L. Winters, 26, Macklin Road, New Waterford, was credited with a day in jail, sentenced to an additional four days in jail and fined $250 for violating a protection order for being with Richard P. Smith who had a protection order against her in late May.

An Aug. 24 pretrial was set for Alexander T. Pecor, 20, Signal Road, Columbiana, charged with theft for allegedly stealing money from his employer, DP Fuels between May 10 and May 12.

Dustin Tyler Whaley, 26, West Chestnut Street, Lisbon, was fined $250 and required 40 hours community service for driving under suspension and turn signals violation.

Richard G. Hawthorne, 66, South Park Avenue, Lisbon, was fined $200 for driving under suspension.

An Aug. 16 pretrial was set for Kaylee R. Ruiz, 22, Carrollton, cited with driving under OVI suspension.

EL Muni

EAST LIVERPOOL — In East Liverpool Municipal Court, a status hearing has been issued for Aug. 17 for Eric W. Smith, of Laneve Lane in Wellsville on OVI and failure to control charges.

Anthony M. Travers, of Commerce Street in Wellsville, was set July 15 for a pretrial on a domestic violence charge.

Ramel H. Shephard, of Cleveland, was set Sept. 1 for a motion hearing on obstructing and possession of marijuana charges.

Joseph E. Smyth, of Glasgow Road in Salineville, was set Aug. 11 on a speeding charge.

Thomas E. Gough, of Lisbon Street, was set July 29 for a bench trial on charges of driving under suspension, reckless operation, criminal mischief and disorderly conduct.

Jeremy L. Ghrist, of Glasgow Road in Salineville, was set at jury trial July 21 on a criminal mischief charge.

Stanlyn R. Watson, of state Route 45 in Lisbon, was set Sept. 16 on a theft charge.

Srianna R. McCoy, of Riverview Street, is set July 13 for pretrial on a failure to signal charge.

Richard P. Smith, of Avondale Street is set July 15 for a preliminary hearing on weapons under disability, obstructing official business and possession of drug paraphernalia charges.

Christopher M. Barnes, of Oak Drive in Wellsville, was sentenced to $180 plus costs on charges of driving under FRA suspension and loud exhaust.

Derica C. Barnett, of Elm Street, was sentenced to $180 plus costs on charges of driving under suspension and loud exhaust.

Stanley F. Hoberell, of state Route 267, was sentenced to $30 plus costs on an expired plates’ charge.

Pamela J. Kelly-Tate, of Cadmus Street, was set for pretrial Sept. 1 on theft and criminal tools’ charges.

Emily S. Nelms, of Highland Street, was set July 20 for pretrial on prohibitions and open container charges.

Bobby J. Westberry, of Diamond, was set July 15 for a preliminary hearing on a receiving stolen property charge.

April D. Miller-Coley, of Aliquippa, Pa., is set Sept. 2 for a pretrial on a theft charge.
