Grand Jury

LISBON — Gregory J. Stephens, 39, Empire, was served a secret indictment from 2015 charging him with possession of drugs, a fifth-degree felony, and tampering with evidence, a third-degree felony. On Sept. 22, 2014, Stephens allegedly had a baggie containing heroin, which he attempted to hide from authorities. The indictment was issued by the grand jury in February of 2015.

Trent A. Marcum, 25, North Madison Avenue, Salem, was served a secret indictment charging him with aggravated possession of drugs, a fifth-degree felony, for allegedly having methamphetamines on Aug. 23, 2020. The indictment was issued by the grand jury in March.

Court News

LISBON — Vincent P. Dimaggio Jr., 52, Calcutta Smith Ferry Road, East Liverpool, pleaded guilty in Common Pleas Court to aggravated possession of drugs, a fifth-degree felony, with a forfeiture specification. He requested immediate sentencing and was sentenced to six months in prison concurrent with time he is currently serving in a Mahoning County case from 2018. The charge in this county was for having methamphetamines and $741 on July 23, 2020.

Municipal

LISBON — A May 24 preliminary hearing was set in County Municipal Court for Rick J. Willis, 31, Spring Street, Salineville, charged with theft for allegedly taking a 1998 Mitsubishi Eclipse belonging to Raegan Loy without her permission on Saturday. The vehicle was later found in a junk yard.

Destyne Carner, 32, Chardon, was fined $1,075, had her license suspended for a year, required to attend a three-day counseling program and ordered 40 hours community service for OVI first offense, failure to control and driving under suspension. A possession of a controlled substance charge against Carner was dismissed.

Joseph James Huseman, 28, Rose Drive, Lisbon, was fined $925, had his license suspended for a year, required to attend a three-day counseling program and ordered 40 hours community service for OVI and speeding.

A July 12 pretrial was set for Justin Lucas Rydarowicz, 19, Fork Road, Leetonia, cited with OVI first offense, failure to control and a seat belt violation.

A June 24 motion hearing and pretrial was set for Zachary D. Moore, 21, state Route 213, Hammondsville, cited with OVI first offense, a seat belt violation, failure to stop after an accident, material on the roadway and two counts of failure to control.

Austin Lemasters, 23, West Main Street, Salineville, was fined $650 for open container and two counts of driving under suspension.

Joseph L. Wounaris, 36, Youngstown, was fined $400 for two counts of driving under suspension.

A July 12 pretrial was set for Jason E. Dotson, 44, West Wilson Street, Salem, cited with driving under FRA suspension.

A July 6 pretrial was set for Michael Earl Reynolds, 45, Brookfield Avenue, Lisbon, cited with driving under FRA suspension and left of center.

A June 29 pretrial was set for Edwin E. Alejandro Diaz, 26, Youngstown, cited with driving under suspension.

Thomas W. Davis, 33, College Street, East Liverpool, was fined $250 for driving under suspension.

Bryan L. Brim, 42, Bower Road, Minerva, was fined $250, credited with a day in jail and required 20 hours community service for disorderly conduct amended from domestic violence for scuffling with his girlfriend in the living room on May 6.

Amanda Riffee, state Route 558, Leetonia, was fined $200 and required 20 hours community service for theft for under ringing merchandise at the Salem Walmart on March 15.

Braedyn A. Marich, 19, Canton, was fined $100 for possession of marijuana.

Kathryn Alana Allen, 33, Toledo, was fined $100 for possession of marijuana.

Wellsville

WELLSVILLE — In Wellsville Magistrate Court, a pretrial was set June 24 for Tiffany Sattler, of Chester Avenue, on a possession of drug paraphernalia charge.

Taylor Thrasher, of Wilbert Avenue, was sentenced to $100 plus costs on a charge of failure to report a crash.

EAST LIVERPOOL — In East Liverpool Municipal Court, a motion hearing was set June 22 for Wayne Morales, of Bloomingdale, on an endangering children charge.

Christian N. Jackson, of Beechwood Street, had his probable cause hearing for a probation violation continued until Thursday.

Darrell Faulkner, of Minerva Street, had his probation terminated.

Robert A. Bailey, of LaCroft Avenue, was set June 15 on a domestic violence pretrial.

Lewis B. Andric, of Artistic Drive, was sentenced to $250 plus costs and a 30-day suspended jail term on a charge of disorderly conduct, reduced from violating a protection order.

Mitchell A. Baker, of Calcutta Smith Ferry Road, was sentenced to $325 plus call on charges of no operator’s license and improper display of plates.

Amanda Eltringham, of Azalea Avenue, was set for a May 26 pretrial on dog running at large and no dog license charges.

Caitlyn N. Stofen, of Broadway Avenue in Wellsville, had her probable cause continued to July 8.

Glenn G. Poole, of Wellsburg, was set June 22 for a pretrial on two charges of interference with custody.

Adam C. Strapazzon, of New Cumberland, W.Va., was set July 8 for a pretrial on OVI, obstructing an intersection and improper display of plates’ charges.

Austin J. Nevill, of Beaver, Pa., was set Sept. 14 for a status hearing on a failure to control charge.
