EAST LIVERPOOL — In East Liverpool Municipal Court, Aaron Stevens, of Fairmont Street, was sentenced to $400 plus costs on two charges of high weeds.

Chad R. Beagle, of Pennsylvania Avenue, was set Thursday for a pretrial on OVI and marked lanes charges.

Cameron R. Miller, of Daisy Allen, was sentenced to $200 plus costs on no operator’s license and operating off-road vehicles on highway charges.

A second pretrial has been set June 3 for Francis J. Lewis, of Independence Square in Wellsville, on charges of no operator’s license, a turn signal violation and failure to display plates or valid sticker.

Andrew H. Hunley, of Youngstown, was sentenced to $300 plus costs, 60 days in jail and 10 days imposed on two counts of theft.

Marcus A. Ford, of Rigby Street, was set May 20 for an extradition hearing on a fugitive from justice charge. He also had a pretrial continued until Thursday on aggravated menacing and drug paraphernalia charges.

Edward A. Torres, of Avondale Street, was sentenced to $230 plus costs on charges of no operator’s license and loud exhaust. A review hearing was set Sept. 17.

Kendall A. Roberts, of Oak Street, has a pretrial set June 15 on charges of OVI and no operator’s license.

Joseph E. Armstrong, of P.O. Box 2641, was sentenced to $500 ($450 suspended) on a charge of failure to file income tax return if he files the necessary paperwork and enters into payment plan if necessary.

Jacob C. Cole, of Canfield, was sentenced to $100 plus costs on a charge of failure to control.

LISBON — A May 17 preliminary hearing was set in county Municipal Court for Chad Robert Ryan, 44, Dover, charged with compelling prostitution, a third-degree felony; possession of criminal tools, a fifth-degree felony; and attempted illegal sexual conduct with a minor, a fifth-degree felony. Ryan allegedly was offering $800 for a sexual encounter with a mother and daughter on May 4, then agreed to $1,000 for and drove to a designated meeting area in East Palestine on May 8 with the money for sex with a 14-year-old girl and a 40-year-old mother. The investigation was initiated by East Palestine detective Dan Haueter through the Mahoning Valley Human Trafficking Task Force.

Cassidey A. Sandoe, 27, Walnut Street, Salem, was bound over on a charge of domestic violence for allegedly fighting with his half-brother.

A July 1 preliminary hearing and pretrial was set for Dylan C.L. Rothwell, 23, Fairfield Avenue, Columbiana, charged with improper handling of a firearm in a motor vehicle, OVI first offense and failure to control. Rothwell allegedly had a loaded gun in the center console when he was stopped by a trooper with the highway patrol on Saturday.

Daniel J. Common II, 21, Quaker Church Road, East Rochester, was bound over on a burglary charge after he allegedly was found sleeping in a recliner chair in a Walker Road, Minerva, home.

A May 17 preliminary hearing and a pretrial was set for Matthew L. Rodriguez, 22, Youngstown, charged with aggravated menacing, a fifth degree felony; and misdemeanor charges of resisting arrest and obstruction official business. He allegedly threatened Columbiana detective Richard Whitfield on the way to the county jail after he had been taken into custody.

Joshua D. Stewart, 32, Hilltop Drive, Lisbon, was sentenced to 90 days in jail for possession of drug abuse instruments, theft and three counts of possession of drug paraphernalia. Stewart had a syringe in his pocket, pipes, a digital scale and a glass vial containing a suspected drug substance on Dec. 15.

A May 17 pretrial is set for Dylan A. Cosma, 19, West Pidgeon Road, Salem, charged with domestic violence for allegedly dragging Abigail S. Hochadel, his girlfriend, by the hair, slapping and punching her on Sunday.

Brittany Mitchell, 26, East Third Street, Salem, was fined $400, credited with eight days served, sentenced to an additional 12 days in jail and required 40 hours community services for drug paraphernalia and falsification for having six hypodermic needles in her purse on March 19 and giving a fake name and Social Security number. An obstructing official business charge was dismissed.

Kala Veon, 37, High Street, Washingtonville, was fined $150 for driving under suspension and marked lanes.

A June 21 pretrial was set for David M. Ciccone, 59, Struthers, cited with distracted driving and speeding.

Timothy C. Schultz, 48, Desellem Road, Lisbon, was fined $150 for disorderly conduct amended from domestic violence for reportedly striking Holly Gorby in the face several times.

Jasmine Richardson, 32, Clark Avenue, Wellsville, was fined $100, credited with seven days in jail and required 20 hours community service for menacing for threatening to kill Blake Kazee, a custodian at the Wellsville Schools.

David Shafer, 56, State Street, New Waterford, was fined $900, credited with three days in jail for theft and two counts of resisting arrest for stealing a 24-ounce Budweiser and two six packs of Three Musketeers at the Dollar General in New Waterford. He then later did not cooperate with police, who had a warrant on July 24 when he did not appear on the other two charges.

Austin Adams, 23, Greentree Place, Lisbon, was fined $450 for failure to control, driving under suspension and reckless operation amended from OVI first offense.

A failure to control citation was dismissed against Omar Muhammad Farooq, 38, Hermitage, Pa.

Dennis S. Fender, 36, Scio, was fined $350 for driving under suspension, marijuana paraphernalia and exhaust violation.

A May 20 pretrial was set for Michael M. Nagel Jr., 36, High Street, Washingtonville, cited with driving under suspension and headlights violation.

A June 29 pretrial was set for Katara K. West, 32, Steubenville, cited with possession of marijuana and marijuana paraphernalia.

A June 28 pretrial was set for Tony A. Dillinger, 41, Fair Avenue, Salem, cited with driving under suspension.
