Municipal

LISBON – A May 6 pretrial was set for Lance J. Steffel, 66, East Main Street, Washingtonville, charged with OVI fourth offense, OVI refusal with prior within 20 years, driving under suspension and resisting arrest for allegedly refusing to get out of the truck when deputies requested because he had a warrant, then clutching the steering wheel to prevent him from being removed on April 22.

A June 15 pretrial was set for Richard B. Pettinger, 53, Louisville, cited with speeding, driving under FRA suspension, use of an unauthorized plate and OVI second offense.

A June 10 pretrial was set for Joshua Lee McIntyre, 42, East Canton, charged with OVI first offense, driving under suspension, improper backing and a seat belt violation.

A June 22 pretrial was set for Caleb James Long, 20, North Elm Street, Columbiana, cited with OVI first offense, possession of marijuana and traffic control devices.

A June 21 pretrial was set for Randall C. Culler, 41, Bell Road, Lisbon, charged with violating a temporary protection order for allegedly calling Jean Geist twice on April 27.

Kimberly L. Smith, 40, Sunny Side Street, East Liverpool, was sentenced to five days in jail and fined $350 for theft for failing to scan and pay for $146 in merchandise at Walmart in Salem on Jan. 11.

John W. Chipps Jr., 41, Weirton, W.Va., waived his right to an extradition hearing so he can be returned to the state of Pennsylvania where he faces charges of theft by unlawful taking and receiving stolen property, both misdemeanor charges from Collier Township in Allegheny County.

A June 8 pretrial was set for Tomasa De Le Cruz Perez, 28, Cedar Ridge Drive, Salem, charged with failure to stop after an accident and failure to control following an accident he was allegedly involved in on East Third Street in Salem on April 13.

A June 1 pretrial was set for Willard R. Miller, 71, Woodworth Road, New Springfield, cited with discarding litter for his alleged actions on March 29 in East Palestine.
