Grand Jury

LISBON — Vincent P. DiMaggio Jr., 51, Calcutta Smith Ferry Road, East Liverpool, was served with a secret indictment charged with aggravated possession of drugs, a fifth-degree felony, along with a specification of money in a drug case. On July 23, 2020, DiMaggio allegedly had methamphetamine and $741 in drug-related proceeds.

Court News

LISBON – In Common Pleas Court, Charles R. Courtney III, 36, North Market Street, Lisbon, is sentenced to three years in prison for two separate drug-related cases. In the first case, he was sentenced to the three years in prison and fined $15,000 for three counts of aggravated trafficking in drugs and one count each of aggravated possession of drugs and trafficking in cocaine. Those charges were for his July 2018 involvement in a drug-trafficking ring in the northern part of Columbiana County. In another case, he was sentenced to 10 months in prison concurrent to the first case for aggravated possession of drugs and aggravated trafficking in drugs for his activities with methamphetamines on Feb. 20, 2018.

Stephanie E. Herstine, 25, England Drive, East Palestine, stipulated to violating the terms of her intervention in lieu of conviction plan she had been placed on for an aggravated possession of drugs conviction. She has now been placed on community control, which is to include serving up to six months at the Eastern Ohio Correction Center.

Colton W. Jones, 29, East Fourth Street, Salem, stipulated to violating the terms of his intervention treatment plan, which was dishonorably terminated. He has now ben placed on community control for the aggravated possession of drugs charge for having methamphetamines on Nov. 3, 2018.

Yvonna M. Parsons, 36, Steubenville Pike, Lisbon, stipulated to violating the terms of her intervention treatment plan, but will remain on that plan. Parsons had previously pleaded guilty to three counts of possession of drugs for monoacetylmorphine, fentanyl and 4-Anilino-N-Phenethyl-4-Piperdine.
