LISBON — Brandon J. Nelder, 37, Shady Lane Drive, Lisbon, who struck his brother. Walter Nelder, with a vehicle when he attempted to stop him from driving while intoxicated was placed on four years community control during a recent sentencing hearing in Common Pleas Court. Nelder was further ordered to serve 30 days in jail starting on March 12, fined $375 and had his license suspended for two years starting the day of the incident, July 6, 2019. He had pleaded guilty in November to aggravated vehicular assault, OVI and two counts of endangering children for having two children ages 3 and 5 in the vehicle with him at the time.
LISBON — A March 15 preliminary hearing was set for Robert B. Stein, Industry, Pa., charged with improper handling of firearms in a motor vehicle for allegedly having a TCP Taurus .380 handgun loaded with a six-round magazine in his vehicle on Thursday during a traffic stop by the highway patrol when Stein did not have a concealed carry permit.
A March 15 pretrial is set for Mark A. Walton, 55, Crawford Road, Wellsville, charged with aggravated menacing for allegedly threatening to kill Cinthia Hannan while he was holding a handgun, as well as threatening to murder her family and have her accompany him to a meeting as he claimed he is a member of the motorcycle gang the Hells Angels. The charge is a first-degree misdemeanor. Walton is being held on a $75,000 cash or surety bond.
A March 18 pretrial was set for David J. Scheufele, 36, East Clark Street, East Palestine, charged with domestic violence for allegedly pushing Marie Scheufele to the ground and hitting her in the face on Feb. 21.

An April 29 pretrial was set for Bethany Anne Cianni, 31, West Washington Street, Lisbon, cited with two counts of animals running loose and two counts of permitting dogs to run at large for allegedly allowing two dogs to run in the area of her home on Jan. 26 and Feb. 26. Court records indicate she has previously been convicted of the same charge.

An April 15 pretrial was set for Kevin Ramsey, 25, Rochester Road, East Rochester, cited with driving under OVI suspension and failure to display a valid sticker.

Keith L. Martin, 39, Aetna Street, Salem, was fined $100 for possession of marijuana paraphernalia.
Brad E. Heaton, 50, Windrose Court, Columbiana, was fined $100 for disorderly conduct for his actions in Columbiana on Jan. 27.

A 12-year-old East Palestine boy was cited for allegedly throwing things at his mother and threatening her with a steak knife on Oct. 12.
A 16-year-old Wellsville boy was cited for allegedly using abusive language towards a police officer and for assaulting the officer by throwing his head back and striking the officer in the mouth with his head on Sep. 18.
A 14-year-old Beaver Township boy was cited for allegedly engaging in sexual conduct with a 6-year-old child on Aug. 14.
A 17-year-old East Liverpool boy was cited for allegedly engaging in sexual conduct with a girl who was less than 13 years old. He was also cited for threatening to kill the girl during the alleged assault on July 18.
