Grand Jury

LISBON — Sarah E. Densmore, 39, Sunset Lane, East Liverpool, was served a secret indictment charging her with unauthorized use of a computer, cable or telecommunications property, a fifth-degree felony, for her alleged actions on July 7, 2020. The indictment against Densmore was issued by the grand jury in January.

Valerie M. Hill, 44, West Wilson Street, Salem, was served a secret indictment charging her with aggravated possession of drugs, a fifth-degree felony. Hill allegedly had methamphetamines on Jan. 24, 2020. The indictment was issued by the grand jury in January 2021.


LISBON — A Feb. 16 preliminary hearing was set in county Municipal Court for David J. Sisco, 54, Echo Dell Road, East Liverpool, charged with aggravated burglary for allegedly entering Rich Oil, East Third Street, Wellsville, holding a knife, reached into the cash drawer grabbing a handful of cash on March 11, 2020. Two clerks, Paul Daniels and Fredda Roberts, fought with the man, causing his mask and bandana to fall off in the store. The man, later reportedly identified as Sisco due to DNA on the items left behind, fled with about $210. Sisco was fined $50 for open container.

William Robert Sichak, 53, Darlington, Pa., was fined $1,025, had his license suspended for a year, sentenced to six days in jail and required 30 hours community service for OVI first offense, distracted driving and marked lanes.

Matthew E. Huston, 33, Bye Road, East Palestine, was fined $975, had his license suspended for one year, required to attend a three-day counseling program and ordered 40 hours community service for OVI first offense and failure to control.

A March 18 pretrial was set for Randall Jay Fegert, 56, East Fourth Street, Salem, cited with OVI first offense, OVI refusal with prior within 20 years, driving under suspension, left of center and endangering children for allegedly having a 14-year-old boy in the vehicle when he was intoxicated.

Christy Nicole Rohn, 29, Front Street, Negley, was fined $500 and credited with three days in jail for theft for taking multiple items of clothing valued at $151 from a rack outside the Dollar General in Lisbon on April 21.

Brandy Marie Bratt, 29, Bell Road, Lisbon, was fined $400, credited with 30 days in jail for assault and disorderly conduct. The assault charge was for punching William McMillan in the nose on July 20, while the disorderly conduct citation was for being intoxicated and aggressive toward people at a Lisbon home on March 24.

Nathan Courtney, 33, Park Avenue, Salem, was fined $400 and required 40 hours community service for two counts of disorderly conduct, one amended from domestic violence and one from endangering children. Two additional counts of endangering children were dismissed. On Aug. 12, Courtney had picked up a rock and thrown it at a van driven by his girlfriend, shattering the back window and sending glass shards where there were three children riding.

Mary E. Northrup, 35, Clarksville, Tenn., was sentenced to three days in jail, fined $250 and required 40 hours community service for theft for attempting to shoplift $160 from the Walmart in Salem on Oct. 16.

Carter James Melott, 20, Creek Road, New Waterford, was fined $250, credited with three days in jail and sentenced to an additional two days in jail for theft. A restitution hearing was set for March 15. Melott took an Apple iPhone 8 plus belonging to Taylor Gurney from their home, took it to the Walmart in East Liverpool and sold it at the ecoATM for $27.

A March 22 pretrial was set for Jason D. Mullins, 36, North Union Avenue, Salem, charged with disorderly conduct for allegedly loudly playing music on Sunday after he was warned earlier in the day about it.

An April 1 pretrial was set for Latisha Renee Nelson, 33, Frola Motel, Lisbon, cited with failure to stop after an accident and parking on the highway.

A Feb. 18 pretrial was set for Brandon Allen Green, 28, West Oregon Avenue, Sebring, cited with driving under OVI suspension and speeding.

A March 15 pretrial was set for Julian Marie Carozza, 25, Cleveland, cited with driving under FRA suspension.

Jacob L. Sanor, 32, Glasgow Road, Wellsville, was fined $150 for failing to stop for a stopped school bus.

Drew M. Barkett, 57, Butcher Road, Leetonia, was fined $150 for an equipment violation amended from speeding.

Jennifer Audrey McDonald, 29, Youngstown, was fined $100 for possession of marijuana.

EAST LIVERPOOL — In East Liverpool Municipal Court, Paul L. Beaver, Orchard Street, was fined $250 and given 76 days in jail for possession of drug abuse instruments and a probation violation.

Thomas W. Akers, St. George St., was fined $150 for marijuana possession.

Shawnee M. Jenkins, Shady Lane, was fined $30 for expired tags.

David J. Sisco, Broadway, Wellsville, was set for a second pretrial at noon Thursday on a theft charge.

Cena M. Mason, Ninth Avenue, is set for a pretrial April 20 on a driving under FRA suspension charge.

Jay D. Hackathorn, Bradshaw Avenue, is set for a pretrial April 15 on a theft charge.

Robert A. Ford, Harker Avenue, is set for a preliminary hearing Thursday on a felony domestic violence charge.

Daniel T. Queen, Echo Dell Road, was set April 15 on charges of falsification, driving under suspension and a break light violation.
