Court News

LISBON — Bradley J. Bowlin, 39, North Ellsworth Avenue, Salem, pleaded guilty in Common Pleas Court to aggravated possession of drugs, a fifth-degree felony, and was placed on a three-year intervention in lieu of conviction treatment plan. Bowlin had methamphetamines on March 28, 2020.

Municipal

LISBON — In county Municipal Court, Cory Micheal Shilling, 28, Navarre, was sentenced to 60 days in jail with credit for eight days served, fined $2,100 and required 40 hours community service for OVI third offense, driving under OVI suspension, a seat belt violation, failure to control and unauthorized use of a motor vehicle, which was amended from a felony receiving stolen property. Shilling had been driving his grandmother’s vehicle without her permission when he was stopped on Jan. 2.

Andrew S. Bolyard, 31, Beaver-Springfield Road, New Springfield, was fined $400, had his license suspended for six months, credited with two days in jail and sentenced to an additional 10 days in jail for physical control and disorderly conduct for calling 911 multiple times while intoxicated with stories about people with warrants at the home where his wife was staying when it was untrue.

Steven K. Rodgers, 42, 18th Street Heights, Wellsville, was fined $375, had his license suspended for a year and required to attend a three-day counseling program for OVI first offense. A speeding citation was dismissed.

Hancock

NEW CUMBERLAND, W.Va. — Hancock County Prosecuting Attorney Steven E. Dragisich announced the following indictments stemming from the January convening of the grand jury:

Dalton J. Lancaster, of New Cumberland, delivery of a controlled substance and possession of a controlled substance with intent to deliver (both methamphetamine).

Danel R. Maloney, of Weirton, two counts each of sexual abuse by a parent, sexual assault (second degree and third degree) and incest.

Alex C. Evans, of Weirton, drug delivery resulting in death, possession of a controlled substance with intent to deliver (meth), gross neglect of a child creating substantial risk of injury/death and domestic battery.

George S. Evans, of New Cumberland, two counts each of sexual abuse by a parent/custodian and sexual abuse (first degree).

Neil A. Cain, of Weirton, two counts each of sexual abuse by a parent/custodian and sexual abuse (first degree).

Leeann E. Mannella, of Weirton, driving while license revoked for a DUI (second offense) and DUI (third offense).

Brandon D. Savin, of Oakland Avenue, East Liverpool, fleeing in a vehicle from a law enforcement officer with reckless indifference and possession of a stolen vehicle.

Michael A. Hodges, of Weirton, fleeing in a vehicle from a law enforcement with reckless operation and attempted unlawful assault.

John D. Ingram, of Weirton, possession of a controlled substance with intent to deliver (meth); delivery of a controlled substance (meth) and possession of a controlled substance with intent to deliver (fentanyl).

Douglas E. Swisher, of Follansbee, possession of a controlled substance with intent to deliver and conspiracy to possess a controlled substance with intent to deliver (both meth).

Chelsea Beveridge, of no fixed address, possession of a controlled substance with intent to deliver and conspiracy to possess a controlled substance with intent to deliver (both meth).

Dalton Alford, of Fredericktwon-Clarkson Road, Negley, possession of a controlled substance with intent to deliver (marijuana).

Steven J. Carman Jr., Newell, seven counts of child abuse resulting in bodily injury.

Chester

CHESTER, W.Va. — In Chester Magistrate Court, Michelle Preston, of Hookstown, Pa., and Brandon Benson, of Beaver Falls, Pa., was each fined $100 for speeding.
