Maintenance violations

LISBON — Several people and organizations were cited into county Municipal Court this week for building maintenance violations, mostly filed by the Lisbon zoning department.

A Nov. 19 pretrial was set for Vogue Property LLC, David Halverstadt, state Route 154, Lisbon, cited with two counts of building maintenance violations regarding alleged violations regarding a 121 N. Market St., three-story stone building.

A Nov. 23 pretrial was set for WHF Consolidated Services LLC, Cheryl Mimna, Cream Ridge Road, Lisbon, is cited with seven counts of building maintenance violations regarding alleged offenses at 1 S. Park Ave., a white three-story building; 2 S. Park Ave., a two-story red brick building; and 3 S. Park Ave., a three-story brick building with a painted white storefront facade.

An Oct. 29 pretrial was set for the Anthony Sylvester Family Trust, which has an address for a post office box in Canton, cited with two counts of building maintenance violations. The alleged violations are in regard to a three-story brick building at 130 S. Market St.

Stage Left Players Inc. was fined $50 for a building maintenance violation for a two-story red brick building and yellow stucco building with bell tower that has peeling paint on the west side of the building.

An Oct. 29 pretrial was set for Wendy Groves, 60, East Taggart Street, East Palestine, cited with three counts of building maintenance violations. The citations are for alleged violations to a three-story building with upper red brick and lower white facade material at 126 E. Lincoln Way.

A Nov. 5 pretrial was set for John and Kellie Wolf, East Lincoln Way, cited with six counts of building maintenance violations for alleged violations at 219 E. Lincoln Way and 221 E. Lincoln Way.

Gloria Williams, 70, Cusick Road, Lisbon, and Melissa Moore-Rowe, 48, Cusick Road, Lisbon, were each fined $50 for a building maintenance violation for allowing a two-story brick building at 216 E. Lincoln Way, Lisbon, to fall under disrepair.

A Salem housing violation, Janika M. Gay, 43, pleaded no contest to inadequate sanitation, defective floor supports, defective ceiling and faulty weather protection for her Salem home at 488 Columbia St. She was fined $200.

County Treasurer vs. Truman Holdings, Inc., delinquent taxes and interest paid regarding one parcel, case to continue regarding remaining parcel numbers.

Ashley M. Gerlach, Wellsville, vs. Dylan B. Gerlach, Tucson, Ariz., divorce granted.

Amanda M. Hays, Salem, vs. Robert L. Hays, Salem, divorce granted.

Grand Jury

LISBON — Amy Sue Sandoe, 39, West Lincoln Way, Lisbon, is charged with illegal use of supplemental nutrition assistance program benefits or WIC program benefits for allegedly unfairly accepting benefits between Feb. 1, 2019 and Oct. 31, 2019. The indictment was issued by the grand jury in March.

Khalis J. Collins, 24, Canton, was served a secret indictment charging him with possession of drugs, a fifth-degree felony, for allegedly having buprenorphine on Aug. 8, 2019, when he is previously convicted with two counts each of trafficking in drugs and possession of drugs. The indictment was issued by the grand jury in August.

Municipal

LISBON — An Oct. 29 pretrial was set in county Municipal Court for William Burbick, 72, Beeson Mill Road, Leetonia, charged with aggravated menacing for allegedly firing a shotgun in the general direction of someone mowing his lawn on May 23.

An Oct. 6 pretrial was set for Andrew S. Bolyard, 31, New Springfield, cited with physical control.

An Oct. 26 pretrial was set for Beth A. Hale, 35, Deming Street, Salem, charged with obstructing official business for allegedly refusing to identify herself at the scene of a hit skip accident in the Butech parking lot on South Broadway on Thursday.

A Nov. 2 pretrial was set for Warren H. Garwood, 53, North Market Street, Lisbon, charged with violating a protection order for allegedly pawning a Savage Arms bolt action rifle on Aug. 4 when someone has a protection order against him which prohibits him from carrying, possessing or obtaining deadly firearms.

Malcomb Howard, 29, County Home Road, Lisbon, waived his right to an extradition hearing so he can be returned to Pennsylvania where he faces a probation violation on a possession of a firearm prohibited charge in Allegheny County.

Ryan Michael Thompson, state Route 154, Lisbon, was credited with a day in jail, sentenced to an additional two days in jail and fined $250 for disorderly conduct after he was found stumbling down a sidewalk with an open container of alcohol in Salem on Thursday.

An Oct. 27 pretrial was set for Tera Guy, 30, Boardman, cited with driving under suspension and left of center.

Trinity R. Walker, 20, West Salem Street, Columbiana, was fined $130 for driving under suspension and an equipment violation amended from a traffic control device violation.

A Sept. 24 pretrial was set for Jamie L. Allen, 28 Rose Drive, Lisbon, cited with possessing drug abuse instruments for an alleWged syringe in a bag on the passenger seat of the vehicle on Aug. 27.

A driving under suspension citation against Olivia Overholt, 20, Canterbury Lane, Salem, was dismissed.
