LISBON — In county Municipal Court, a July 6 preliminary hearing was set for Timothy N. Thompson, 32, Fair Avenue, Salem, charged with theft. Thompson admitted to stealing two license plates off a Salem Community Hospital vehicle. A July 6 pretrial was also set for Thompson, charged with possessing criminal tools. Thompson was allegedly in possession of two screwdrivers to remove the license plates.
A July 6 preliminary hearing was set for Timothy H. Lewis, 65, East Main Street, Salineville, charged with breaking and entering and theft. Lewis was allegedly found by police with stolen tools and two watches after a resident reported that he was looking into the windows of houses.
Barbara A. Carr, 48, West Taggart Street, East Palestine, was fined $725, sentenced to 30 days in jail, had her license suspended for one year and ordered 40 hours of community service for OVI first offense, marked lanes and OVI controlled substance.
Vincent E. Delaroza, 20, North Market Street, East Palestine, was sentenced to 90 days in jail, fined $250 and ordered 30 hours of community service charged with underage consumption.
A July 9 pretrial was set for Ashley M. Messenger, 30, Cunningham Road, Salem, charged with possession of instruments to ingest.
An Aug. 10 pretrial was set for Edward G. Such III, 43, Main Street, Campbell, charged with OVI first offense.
A July 6 pretrial David W. Lotze, 49, Cleveland Street, Salem, charged with assault. Lotze allegedly struck the vehicle and face of Kaleb Messersmith, causing him to bleed from both nostrils.
Kevin Stewart, 41, Erwin Street, Maple Heights, was sentenced to seven days in jail and fined $250 for obstructing official business.
An Aug. 6 pretrial was set for Kylee A. Culp, 21, Thomas Road, Lisbon, charged with illegal use or possession of drug paraphernalia.
Dustin Andrews, 22, state Route 170, East Palestine, was sentenced to 240 days in jail, fined $500 and ordered 80 hours of community service for criminal damaging and domestic violence. Andrews allegedly struck Mackenzie Garrett in the leg with a laptop after flipping a plate of food at her.
An Aug. 18 pretrial was set for Sarah B. Himes, 43, West Wilson Street, Salem, charged with two counts of criminal damaging and criminal trespassing. Himes allegedly punctured a tire of a Newgarden Avenue resident.
Ronald W. Desanzo, 40, Wood Street, East Palestine, was sentenced to 30 days in jail, fined $150 and ordered 40 hours of community service for disorderly conduct, amended from domestic violence.
An Aug. 31 status conference hearing was set for Ross J. Sheppard, 20, Hill Avenue, Steubenville, charged for OVI second offense, speeding in a 70 mph zone and possession of marijuana.
A July 9 pretrial was set for Jordan N. McMillan, 25, Fairfield School Road, Columbiana, charged with possession of instruments to ingest.
A Sept. 1 pretrial was set for Matthew S. Lehman, 41, Monroe Street, Salem, charged with obstructing official business, disorderly conduct and knowingly obtain, possess or use marijuana.
Jacob A. Struble, 18, East Rebecca Street, East Palestine, was bound over to the grand jury charged with attempt. A July 14 drug court appearance was also set for Struble, charged with criminal damaging.
An Aug. 24 pretrial was set for Lance Steffel, 65, East Main Street, Washingtonville, charged with disorderly conduct and false alarms.
An Aug. 24 pretrial was set for Garrett L. Bowling, 27, Wells Hollow Road, Wellsville, charged with criminal trespassing.
