LISBON — A 14-year-old Lucas County boy had many citations transferred to Columbiana County Juvenile Court, including allegations he threatened two police officers in July, kicked his residential teacher multiple times and threw a skateboard at him in July and kicked another child in the leg in August. Additionally, court documents allege the same boy caused a fire by turning on a stove, intentionally removing the control knobs of the stove, using both cooking spray and a kitchen sink sprayer as accelerants and used cleaning solution spray on electrical outlets throughout the home to attempt to start an electrical fire on Sept. 15. On the same date he allegedly attempted to spit on and kick the arresting officer, and threatened to kill all four police officers, including threatening to shoot one of them with his own service gun.
In January, the boy reportedly had a piece of broken plexiglas in his hand and threatened to kill his group home house parents and a police officer with it on the same day he had allegedly damaged a $300 microwave and a $400 television in a fit of rage. The same boy is alleged to have hit and kicked teaching parents at a facility on another date in January. Additional allegations state the boy bit someone and threw rocks at a person, a Toyota Sequoia, a Dodge Journey, a Dodge Ram and a Chevy HHR, which smashed the window of the last vehicle on Feb. 4.
A 16-year-old West Branch boy was cited after allegedly having sex with a 12-year-old girl in the spring of 2019, when he was 15 years old at the time, which led to a pregnancy and an abortion. DNA testing proved he was the father.
A 12-year-old West Branch boy was cited after allegedly grabbing something his mother had and holding his mother at bay with a knife on Jan. 16.
A 14-year-old East Liverpool child was cited after allegedly leaving the police station when told not to, running from police officers, then after being caught refusing to get out of the cruiser and kicking Patrolman James Savina on Feb. 15.
A 17-year-old Ashtabula County child was cited after allegedly refusing to cooperate when he was apprehended as the suspect of a shooting in Salem in January.
A 15-year-old East Palestine boy was cited for allegedly striking his mother, choking his father from behind and leaving the house without permission on Feb. 25.
A 16-year-old Beaver Local boy was cited after allegedly striking his mother and damaging a bathroom wall in February.
A 16-year-old Crestview boy was cited after allegedly pushing his mother on Feb. 13.
A 16-year-old Cleveland girl living in East Palestine was cited after allegedly shoving her foster parent and yelling and cursing obscenities at household members on March 2. A day earlier the girl was accused of shoplifting headphones from Rite Aid.
A 16-year-old East Liverpool boy was cited after threatening to smash the windows and burn down his grandmother’s house, as well as threatening to cut throats in January.
A 17-year-old Crestview child was cited after sneaking into the home of Katherine Toner, Spruce Street, New Waterford, where he was found in a bedroom.
A 17-year-old Cleveland girl in Salem schools was cited after allegedly refusing to leave her classroom, leading to police dragging her from her desk and handcuffing her to take her to the principal’s office.
A 13-year-old East Liverpool boy was cited in March for allegedly attempting to have sexual contact with a girl on two occasions in December.
A 15-year-old Salem girl was cited with allegedly damaging a bedroom door with a hammer while attempting to get at her mother on Feb. 29.
Four East Liverpool adults were cited in February with allegedly contributing to the delinquency of children – Linda McKinnon, Wilbert Avenue, a 9-year-old child; Sara Kirby, North Shadylane, a 9-year-old child; Donna Potts and Matthew Rudder, Globe Street, both an 8-year-old and a 6-year-old.
A 16-year-old East Liverpool area child was cited into court in March after allegedly spray painting a 2013 Ford Super Duty pickup truck owned by Richard Rudibaugh and a 2018 Subaru Crosstrek owned by Angela Rudibaugh on Idaho Avenue on July 12.

A 15-year-old Lisbon boy was cited in February after repeatedly swearing at his principal when he was awakened for sleeping in class and hanging up on his probation officer.
