LISBON — In county Municipal Court, an April 2 pretrial was set for Candice N. Chamberlain, 36, and Jason R. Bays, 34, both of East State Street, Salem, and charged with domestic violence. Chamberlain allegedly poured beer on Bays and then headbutted him in the lip in the early hours of Wednesday. He had a cut on his lip and his clothes smelled of alcohol. Bays is accused of choking Chamberlain during the argument, leaving red marks on her neck and chest.
An April 2 pretrial was set for Kylar D. Brown, 18, South Union Avenue, Salem, charged with domestic violence for allegedly physically grabbing his unnamed live-in girlfriend during an argument about a vape pen on Tuesday. Brown allegedly removed the vape pen from her, threw her cell phone, grabbed her by the right arm wrist and pushed her into a wall. Brown claimed his girlfriend had kicked him in the chest, but he had not visible marks.
