LISBON — A Jan. 27 preliminary hearing and pretrial was set in county Municipal Court for Grant Daniel Adams, 18, Taylor Avenue, New Waterford, charged with theft and vandalism for allegedly jumping over the counter at the New Waterford Food Mart while wearing a mask to steal cigarettes before fleeing and kicking the rear cruiser door, damaging it after he was taken into custody on Saturday.

A Jan. 27 preliminary hearing was set for Wesley D. Clark, 29, last known address Vine Avenue, Salem, charged with burglary for allegedly entering Deanna Lodge’s apartment without her permission, while she had the door locked, a chair holding the door closed and she could hearing him yelling and kicking the door while she was inside on Dec. 21.

Lester D. Lovett Jr., 27, Clinger Avenue, Alliance, was bound over to the grand jury on charges of failure to comply with an order or signal of a police officer and obstructing justice after allegedly fleeing from Minerva Police and the highway patrol, then being one of the two people, who jumped out of a vehicle and ran after the vehicle struck a guardrail at state Route 164 near Endley Road on Jan. 11 and refusing to identify the other person who ran. A March 5 pretrial was set for Carl A. Williamson, 37, U.S. Route 30, Minerva, charged with OVI second offense and failure to control.

A March 3 pretrial was set for Adam D. Doud, 39, Canton, cited with OVI first offense, failure to stop after an accident and reasonable control.

A March 30 pretrial was set for Luann Marie Bashor, 42, Alice Street, East Palestine, cited with OVI first offense and left of center.

Melissa M. Blake, 37, Quay Road, Negley, was fined $410, had her license suspended for a year, sentenced to five days in jail and required 40 hours community service for OVI and left of center.

A Feb. 27 pretrial was set for Christopher R. Ewing, 35, Fink Road, Kensington, charged with resisting arrest for allegedly pulling away and attempting to tuck his arm underneath himself when Salem police attempted to arrest him on a warrant on Jan. 19. He was finally tased to get him to comply with orders to place his hands behind his back.

A Jan. 30 pretrial was set for Marlin R. Catlos, 57, West Pershing Street, Salem, charged with domestic violence for allegedly striking Donna Bryan in the head and face, as well as attempting to pull her back into the house when she was attempting to leave on Friday.

A March 5 pretrial was set for Logan Alexander Rodden, 20, West Middletown Road, Beloit, charged with obstructing official business for allegedly preventing police from finding someone who was known to be wanted on Friday.

Jonathan P. Cunning, Alderlick Road, Wellsville, was fined $300, credited with 21 days in jail and required 40 hours community service for carrying a concealed weapon and drug abuse instruments for a large knife inside his waistband and a needle in his front pocket.

Thomas M. Blair, was fined $250, credited with two days in jail and required 30 hours community service for disorderly conduct for walking intoxicated around the American Legion in Salineville, being disrespectful to the patrons and making unwanted inappropriate advances toward lady patrons.

Thomas A. Watkins, 47, East North Avenue, East Palestine, was credited with a day in jail, fined $250 and required 40 hours community service for telecommunications harassment for repeatedly calling East Palestine police department claiming his 5-year-old child was missing when he was looking for information verifying his child, who he knew was with the child’s mother, was fine.

A Feb. 25 pretrial was set for Chad Iler, 47, West South Range Road, Salem, charged with aggravated menacing for allegedly getting a butcher knife from the shed and ordering Rick Styen to give him the keys to a shed on Dec. 21.

Cheyenne J. Stockdale, 18, Grant Street, Lisbon, was credited with four days in jail, fined $250 and required 30 hours community service for underage consumption.

Damien Matthew Cronin, 31, Jefferson Street, Salineville, was fined $180 for driving under suspension and expired license.

Larry Scott, 39, West Park Avenue, Columbiana, was fined $150 for driving under FRA suspension.

Christopher Gray, 44, South West Street, Columbiana, was fined $150 for driving under suspension.

Derek R. Westover, 33, Fairmont Road, Elkton, was fined $330, credited with seven days served, sentenced to an additional three days in jail and require 40 hours community service for loud exhaust, driving under FRA suspension and a seat belt violation.

Jimmy Nguyen, 55, Niles, was fined $130 for speeding and distracted driving.

A Feb. 25 pretrial was set for Kenneth B. Devore III, 22, Independence Square, Wellsville, cited with driving under a 12-point suspension and a traffic control devices violation.

David J. Foreman Jr., 40, Garfield Avenue, Salem, was fined $200 for possession of marijuana and marijuana paraphernalia.

Michael T. Joy, 31, East Sixth Street, Salem, was fined $100 for unsafe vehicle amended from speeding.

A Jan. 29 court trial was set for Sheri J. Fambro, 50, Youngstown, cited with driving under suspension.

Taylor E. Saunders, 28, South Main Street, Columbiana, was fined $50 for driving under suspension.

Destry Cordell Johnson, 32, Warren, was fined $50 for driving under suspension.

A March 10 pretrial was set for Hannah N. Altman, 21, Adams Road, East Palestine, cited with possession of marijuana paraphernalia.

A criminal trespassing citation against Nickolas Polin Perez, 28, Firestone Avenue, Columbiana, was dismissed.
