LISBON — In Common Pleas Court, Richard H. Stoddard III, 50, Lincoln Avenue, East Liverpool, pleaded guilty to possession of heroin and possession of a fentanyl-related compound, both fifth-degree felonies.

The charges were for drugs he was found to have on Aug. 25. Stoddard requested immediate sentencing and was sentenced to eight months in prison consecutive to an eight-month prison sentence he is serving after violating his probation from a 2018 case for possession of drugs.

Neal C. Jackson Jr., 39, Steubenville, pleaded guilty to possession of cocaine, a fifth-degree felony, for having the substance on Jan. 19, 2019.

He faces up to a year in prison, a $2,500 fine and a five-year license suspension. Sentencing is set for April 20.
