LISBON — James Edward Barber, 41, Vine Street, Salem, pleaded guilty in Common Pleas Court to failure to register his address, a third-degree felony. Barber requested immediate sentencing and was sentenced to 14 months in prison. He was credited with nine days served in jail. Barber is required to register his address after he was convicted of gross sexual imposition in Stark County on Nov. 19, 2013.
Laura Eberhardt, 35, Unity Line Road, New Waterford, pleaded guilty to the lesser included offense of illegal use of supplemental nutrition assistance program benefits or WIC benefits, a fourth degree felony. The initial charge was a third-degree felony. She requested immediate sentencing and was placed on three- years community control and ordered to pay $8,509 in restitution.
