LISBON – A July 8 pretrial was set in county Municipal Court for Mia N. Sheets, 29, East Main Street, East Palestine, charged with endangering children and drug paraphernalia.
Sheets was behind a closed business in the 400 block of West State Street, Salem, and walked away from a vehicle when she saw a police cruiser on Monday. Sheets reportedly gave conflicting stories and K-9 Simon alerted to the presence of narcotics in her vehicle. Police allegedly found a glass pipe for dangerous drugs in a bag on the front seat and a 9-month-old child in the backseat. Bond was set at $5,000 cash or surety.
