LISBON — In county Municipal Court a May 16 preliminary hearing and pretrial was set for Michael A. Howell, 41, Alden Avenue, Alliance, charged with failure to comply with the order or signal of a police officer and cited with driving under suspension, use of an unauthorized plate and insecure load. In New Waterford on May 3, Howell allegedly failed to stop for a patrol unit with lights and sirens, reaching speeds in excess of 90 mph while committing multiple traffic violations and passing another motorist.
A May 16 preliminary hearing was set for Justin Smith, 35, West Washington Street, Lisbon, charged with OVI for allegedly being intoxicated while driving on Wednesday when he has three prior convictions for OVI in the past 10 years.
A June 13 pretrial was set for Lisa A. Dunkel, 55, Woodworth Road, New Springfield, cited with physical control.
Christina Lynn Coil, 40, West Main Street, Salineville, was fined $675, had her license suspended for a year, required to attend a three-day counseling program and ordered 30 hours community service for OVI first offense.
Benjamin Matthew Cronin, 40, Jefferson Street, Salineville, was fined $800 for three counts of driving under suspension, two counts of speeding and a brake light violation.
Thomas J. Phillips Jr., 46, New Garden Avenue, Salem, was fined $450, credited with 14 days in jail and required 100 hours community service for two counts of driving under suspension and one count each of use of an unauthorized plate and obstructing official business for claiming his cousin, Amy Phillips, the owner of a truck which was stuck, had called him to help her get it out on Feb. 21. Salem police later learned she was at home, believed her vehicle was at her house and had no idea who had her vehicle.
Sierra A. Bable, 21, Pittsburgh, Pa., was fined $150, credited with a day in jail and required 40 hours community service for disorderly conduct amended from domestic violence for throwing a flower pot at her sister, striking her in the head and causing her ear to bleed on Feb. 16.
A May 14 pretrial was set for Miranda Lynn McPherson, 29, Latta Road, East Palestine, charged with assault for allegedly punching Amy Weyand in the face and scratching her neck on April 10.
Austin Christopher Ford, 19, West Main Street, Salineville, was fined $650, required 50 hours community service, sentenced to three days in jail for fleeing and eluding, no license, reckless operation, speeding and invalid sticker. On Dec. 8, Ford fled from Sgt. Keith Evanoff in Salineville at a high rate of speed.
Brent T. Miller, 34, Salem-Alliance Road, Salem, was fined $350 and required 30 hours community service for open container, driving under suspension and left of center.
A June 18 pretrial was set for Travis L. Diekmann, 33, West Main Street, Washingtonville, cited with OVI first offense, driving under FRA suspension and a tail lights violation.
Richard Allen Powell, 30, East Liverpool Road, East Liverpool, was fined $200 and had his license suspended for 180 days for possesion of marijuana and marijuana paraphernalia.
A May 16 pretrial was set for Marques M. Kimmie, 23, Cleveland, charged with assault for allegedly assaulting Nathaniel Mango in a cell at the county jail where they were both inmates on Sunday.
Gregory B. Weingart, 23, state Route 9, Hanoverton, was sentenced to four days in jail, required 40 hours community service and fined $200 for driving under suspension.
A June 20 pretrial was set for John Burke, 59, West Spruce Street, Lisbon, charged with driving under OVI suspension.
A May 21 pretrial was set for Robert C. Cochran, 30, Logtown Road, Lisbon, cited with driving under a forfeiture suspension and improper registration.
A June 20 pretrial was set for Tina L. Smith, 43, Salineville Road West, Salineville, cited with wrongful entrustment.
A June 20 pretrial was set for Isaac L. Lemasters Jr., 49, Salineville Road West, Salineville, cited with driving under suspension.
A disorderly conduct citation against Harry Lee McCartney III, 30, Derr Avenue, Beloit, was dismissed.
A citation for violating the orders of the board of health was dismissed against Vernon L. Powell, 72, Elkton Road, Lisbon, who has now been found to be in compliance.
A citation for violating the orders of the board of health was dismissed against Jeffrey L. Coil, 56, state Route 45, Lisbon, after he was now found to be in compliance.
