LISBON — Nicole M. Gima, 39, Follansbee, W.Va., was placed on four years community control for illegal conveyance of a drug of abuse onto the grounds of a detention facility. She was sentenced to six months at the Eastern Ohio Correction Center. Gima had two capsules of lisdexamfetamine found during the time she was booked into the jail on a shoplifting charge.

During her sentencing hearing Gima’s defense attorney, Colleen Hall-Dailey and Gima both indicated Gima had already been searched prior to the drugs being found and had been placed in a detox cell due to her condition, so she really did not realize she had the drugs still on her.
