Crestview boys team up

LEAVITTSBURG — Five Crestview players scored goals in a 6-0 win over LaBrae on Thursday.

Jacob Wickline collected two goals, while Matt Jennings, Dale McGoogan, Ryan Emch and Mitchell Auer each had one.

Assists for crestview were by Cory Dewell with two and Colt Crane and Cutter Crane with one apiece.

Freshmen goalie Carter Blakeman made eight saves to record his fourth shutout of the season.

Labrae goalie Logan Dearmitt made eight saves and Malakai Roberts four.

Crestview (6-1) will travel to Newton Falls at 7 p.m. Tuesday.

Ravenna 3, Salem 1

SALEM — Ravenna posted a 3-1 win over Salem on Thursday in boys soccer action at Reilly Stadium.

Salem is 2-3 and hosts Marlington on Tuesday.

Ravenna is 3-2-1.

Beaver 1, Harrison 0

CALCUTTA — Zack Smith’s 25th minute goal led Beaver Local’s boys soccer team to a 1-0 win over Harrison Central on Thursday.

Beaver Local goalie Austin McCoy had three saves.

Beaver is 3-1-1 and is at Weir on Saturday.

East Liverpool 6,

Union Local 0

BELMONT — East Liverpool’s boys soccer team was on target with a 6-0 win over Union Local on Thursday.

Michael Billingsley and Izaiha Browning had two goals each. Alex Pelley and Bristan Pelley had a goal each.

Brennan O’Hara had three assists. Audun Barnhart and Hayden Kraska had an assist each.

Kamren Klakos had six saves each.

East Liverpool is at Edison on Tuesday.

Columbiana 0, Springfield 0

COLUMBIANA — Columbiana and Springfield’s girls soccer teams played to a 0-0 draw on Thursday.

Sierra Macklin had seven saves for the Clippers, 2-1-2. Columbiana is at Warren JFK on Monday.

Poland 1, South Range 0

GREENFORD –Adam Rumble scored the lone goal to lift Poland past South Range, 1-0, Thursday.

Poland’s Zack Nemeth made four saves, while South Range’s Matt Lucas made four.

Poland improves to 3-1-1, while South Range drops to 3-2.

East Liverpool 6, Steubenville Central 1

EAST LIVERPOOL –Lexi Danley’s hat trick and Darshay Foster’s three assists guided East Liverpool’s girls soccer team to its first win of the season in a 6-1 victory over Steubenville Central on Thursday at Patterson Field.

East Liverpool is 1-4.

Other goals came from Madelyn DeLong, Kya Kavanaugh and Natalie Parker. Allie Kidder added an assist. Alessandra Ferrazzano had 12 saves in goal.

The Potters host Cambridge on Saturday.

Oak Glen 0, Steubenville 0

STEUBENVILLE — Oak Glen played to a 0-0 draw with Steubenville on Thursday.

Jacob Clark had 18 saves for the Golden Bears.

Oak Glen is 3-1-2.
