Lisbon 13, Mineral Ridge 3

MINERAL RIDGE — Autumn Oehlstrom had three hits including a double and five RBIs as Lisbon ripped Mineral Ridge 13-3 in five innings on Friday.

Kenedy Vrable added two singles, a triple and four RBIs.

Emma Thompson had a single and double with an RBI, while Hannah Deland had two hits while Lindi Welsh had two hits.

Thompson also struck out four in five innings of work.

LaBrae 10, Crestview 0

COLUMBIANA–The Crestview softball team took a 10-0 defeat to LaBrae on Friday.

Trinity Boston had two hits for the Rebels. Olivia Strank and MacKenzie Daub each had a hit.

Crestview returns to action when they travel to Wheeling Central Catholic on Monday.

COLUMBIANA–Poland outlasted Columbiana 3-1 in eight innings Friday at Firestone Park.

The Clippers fall to 3-4 overall.

Marisa McDonough had two singles and an RBI for the Clippers, in addition to pitching eight innings.

Morgan Highley also had two singles.

Columbiana hosts a doubleheader with Lordstown today.

East Liverpool 1

EAST LIVERPOOL — Beaver Local’s softball team secured an 11-1 win over East Liverpool on Friday in Buckeye 8 Athletic League play.

Leah Pancake had a triple and single, while MiKayla Shulas had a double for the Beavers, 2-7.

East Liverpool’s Hannah Newlin had two singles, while Maleia Waite posted a double.

East Liverpool is 1-7.

Cierrah Thurik was the winning pitcher with two strikeouts and three walks.

Maddy Brown took the loss and had 12 strikeouts.

South Range 3,

Marlington 0

ALLIANCE — South Range’s softball team got two hits and two RBIs from Madison Weaver in a 3-0 win over Marlington on Friday.

Madison Weaver had a home run and a single along with two RBIs. Hanna Dennison had a single.

Bree Kohler struck out eight and held the Dukes to just two hits to aid the cause.

South Range travels to Steubenville today.

BELOIT — West Branch’s Jordan Anderson and Hannah Sprague had two hits each and Peyton Alazaus had the game-winning RBI in the seventh as West Branch dumped GlenOak 2-1 on Friday.

West Branch is 7-0 and hosts Louisville on Tuesday.

LOWELLVILLE–The Western Reserve softball team scored four runs in the sixth inning to pull away from Lowellville 8-4 in Mahoning Valley Athletic Conference action Friday.

The Blue Devils improve to 6-1 overall and 4-0 in the MVAC.

Lowellville falls to 0-2 in league play.

Layla Woolf had a double, single and two RBIs for Western Reserve. She also picked up the win with eight strikeouts over seven innings.

Morgan Donithan and Maddie Prock each added a pair of RBIs.
