Mineral Ridge sweeps Sebring on the court

MINERAL RIDGE–The Sebring boy’s basketball team lost to Mineral Ridge 67-62 in Mahoning Valley Athletic Conference action on Saturday.

Joey Clark led the Trojans with 21 points. Jake Hunter and Gabe Lanzer each had 13 points.

Sebring outrebounded Mineral Ridge 27-22.

Lanzer grabbed 8 rebounds for Sebring.

Sebring is now 5-6 (1-5 MVAC) and will play at Western Reserve on Tuesday.

In jayvee action, Mineral Ridge won 67-41.

MINERAL RIDGE–The Sebring girl’s basketball team fell to Mineral Ridge 60-29 on Saturday.

Sebring was led by Emma Whaley with 12 points and Oliva Woods with seven points. Olivia Reggi contributed five points.

Sebring returns to action when the Trojans travel to Lowellville on Thursday.
