Potters, Bears busy at Park Duals
WHEELING, W.Va. — Oak Glen and East Liverpool wrapped up wrestling action on Friday at the Wheeling Park Duals.
Oak Glen beat Weirton 59-5, Howland 57-18, Bethel-Tate 43-31 and Avon Lake 40-31 in pool play on Friday before beating Massillon Jackson 36-33 to take ninth place.
Oak Glen was 5-2 in pool play.
East Liverpool beat South Harrison 69-12, lost to Waynedale 45-27 and beat Preston County 39-22 before beating St. Xavier 47-28 to take 17th place.
East Liverpool ended 3-4 in pool play.
For the Potters, Howard Williams finished 9-0 for the tournament, Johnathan Potts finished 9-0 for the tournament, Kyle Walker finished 8-1 for the tournament, Michael Loy finished 8-1 for the tounrament, Levi Turner finished 7-2 for the tournament, Anthony Mecum finished 6-3 for the tournament, Ryan Fox finished 6-2 for the tournament, Skyler Wooley finished 5-3 for the tournament and Devin Keyes finished 5-3 for the tournament.
