Antram leads United Local

COLUMBIANA–Ethan Antram slugged a two-run homer to lead United past Crestview 7-3 in Inter-Tri County League Red Division action Monday.

The Rebels fall to 8-7 overall and 5-2 in the ITCL Red, dropping a game behind first place South Range. United improves to 5-6, 1-3.

Shane Black and Brady Leyman each chipped in doubles for the Eagles. Leyman finished 3-for-3, while Black pitched a complete game for the win.

For Crestview, Dylan Huff doubled, while Dylan Ball tripled.

The Rebels wrap up conference play today at United. South Range still has three conference games remaining, one against Springfield today and two against United next week.

East Palestine is 8-8 and faces Cardinal Mooney at 7 p.m. today at Cene Park.

COLUMBIANA — Columbiana’s Ryan Fahs pitched his first varsity game and lifted the Clippers to an 11-1 victory in six innings on Monday.

Columbiana improves to 14-2, 5-1 in the Inter-Tri County White Division, and travels to Leetonia today.

Fahs went the distance, allowing one run on seven hits, one walk and struck out four. Chase Franken led offensively with a single, double, triple, two RBIs and three runs scored. A.J. Perkins and Dustin Bennett had two hits apiece and three total RBIs.

Isaac Stecker led the Bears with a pair of hits and a run scored. Austin Keats laced a double.

Ryan Demsky tallied two singles, two runs scored and three RBIs for Western Reserve. Jeep DiCioccio had two singles and two RBIs. Caleb Quinn added a double, run scored and two RBIs.

GREENFORD — South Range bounced back from a three-run deficit to defeat Springfield 8-3 on Monday.

South Range improves 12-4, 4-1 in the Inter-Tri County Red Division. Springfield falls to 6-8, 1-3. Both teams face each other again today in Springfield.

The Raiders scored all eight runs in the bottom of the fifth inning. Brycen James led with two singles and two RBIs. Dan Ritter had two singles and went the distance on the mound.

For Springfield, Russ Seymour had a single and a double. John Ritter added a pair of singles.
