Anderson dives to fourth state berth
CLEVELAND — It looks like East Palestine senior Faith Anderson is saving her best for last.
Anderson earned a fourth straight state diving berth by placing third at the Cleveland State Division II district Wednesday. She scored 425 points at Busby Natatorium to move on.
The top six finishers advance to the state meet at Branin Natatorium in Canton at 9 a.m. Wednesday, Feb. 22.
Anderson qualified for districts by winning the Perry High School Diving Invitational in Massillon on Feb. 4 with a personal-best 462 points, which also broke the pool record.
Anderson is heading to the state meet for the fourth time after placing ninth as a junior, 15th as a sophomore and 19th as a freshman.
