BUCYRUS, Ohio (AP) — Ohio authorities have identified a person of interest in the slayings of four men found dead in separate homes this week.
The Crawford County Prosecutor's Office says 41-year old Donald Hoffman of Bucyrus (byoo-SY'-rus) is currently in custody and is a person of interest in the four deaths in the small town but has not been charged.
The office says Hoffman is being held on a probation violation and a preliminary hearing has been set for Thursday morning.
It wasn't immediately clear whether Hoffman had an attorney. Calls to the Crawford County Jail on Wednesday night went to an automated answering service.
Police say the deaths in Bucyrus, about 65 miles north of Columbus, were likely related but they don't know if the victims knew each other.
