Three people were taken to St. Elizabeth's in Boardman with non life-threatening injuries after a two-vehicle accident at the intersection of state Routes 164 and 558 in Fairfield Township - a common accident area - at 5:45 p.m. Wednesday. A pickup truck was driven on 558 by Rachel Zubay, 34, Creek Road, New Waterford, who reportedly ran a stop sign, striking broadside a car driven by Derrick Hunt, 46, Mill Street, Salineville. Taken to the hospital were Zubay, Hunt and Bobbie Burns, 41, who was riding with Hunt. Zubay was cited by the patrol for failure to control and no seat belt.
