Frank E. Costlow, age 87 of Lisbon passed away at his residence Thursday, February 20, 2014.
He was born in St. Michael, Pennsylvania to Frank Edward and Mary Bell (Brough) Costlow.
Frank lived at his present address since 1969 coming from Chamberburg, Ohio. He retired from Morgan Engineering where he was a welder. Frank loved fishing and the outdoors.
He was a member of the Veterans of Foreign Wars Post #4120 of Minerva, Ohio where he was a life member. Frank served during World War II with the U.S. Army 35th Infantry Div.
Survivors include a brother Regis Paul Costlow of North Hollywood, California; a son Donald (Lillie Moats) of Lisbon and 5 grandchildren: Mark Moats, Sr., Don Moats, Jr., Carla Moats, Becky (Jack) Meighen and Mary (Randy) Wilson all of Lisbon; several great grandchildren and 3 expected great grandchildren.
Preceding him in death was his wife Esta Virginia (Morrison) Costlow whom he married Dec. 21, 1956 and she died Sept. 9, 2009. Other family members preceding him were two brothers Lee Costlow and John Costlow; also a sister Lenora Costlow.
Calling hours for Frank will be Monday, February 24, 2014 from 11:00 A.M. to 1:00 P.M. at the Maple Cotton Funeral Home with the funeral at 1:00 P.M. with Fred May officiating. Burial will follow at Heritage Memorial Gardens in Minerva, Ohio.
