Bycroft bus hit, no one injured

WELLSVILLE - A Robert Bycroft school bus was struck head-on by another vehicle on 10th Street in the village at 8:26 a.m. Thursday, but no injuries were reported.

Police said a car driven by Troy Phillips, 45, Hammond Park Drive, crossed the center line, striking the bus.

The bus was transporting six students and two adults, who were checked out by an ambulance crew at the scene, but no one was injured, police reported. Phillips was not injured. Parents were also notified of the accident.

Another bus was brought to continue transporting the students to school.

Phillips was cited for driving left of center.
