LAFAYETTE, Colo. - Darcy Elizabeth Anton and Scott Thomas Ziegler were married in a double ring ceremony on Aug. 23 at the Lionsgate Center at The Gate House, Lafayette, Colo.
The bride is the daughter of Mike Anton of Denver, Colo.; and Betty Anton, Castle Rock, Colo.
The groom is the son of Zane and Verna Kay Ziegler, North Georgetown.

Reverend Kim Tavendale performed the ceremony.
Escorted by her father, the bride wore a scoopneck mermaid style silk taffeta dress accented with a sash of pearl flowers and feathers. She carried a bouquet of sunflowers with white roses, hydrangeas, billy balls, ranunculus, succulents. The bouquet also included the heirloom locket of the groom's maternal great-great-great grandmother
Adryan Popejoy, sister of the bride, Denver, served as matron of honor. Bridesmaids were Jenni Frederick, Chicago; Jessica Frisby and Amber Knuth, both of Denver.
Performing the duties of best man was Gabriel Martinez, Denver. Groomsman were Matt Frederick, Chicago; Howard Popejoy, Arvada, Colo.; and Ryan Ziegler, brother of the groom, Forest, Va.
A reception at the center followed. A reception, hosted the groom's parents, took place Oct. 6 at Drake's Landing, Canfield.
The bride is a 2004 graduate of Douglas County High School, Castle Rock, Colo. She earned a bachelor' degree in political science at the University of Colorado in 2008. She is employed as a government consultant with Corner Alliance, Inc. in Boulder, Colo.
The groom is a 2000 graduate of West Branch High School and earned a bachelor's degree in math with a computer science minor from Muskingum College in 2004. He is a senior products manager for Richo Printing, Boulder, Colo.
After honeymoon in St. Lucia, the couple reside in Denver.
