Grace Noble

NEW MIDDLETOWN Grace E. Noble, 92, passed away early Thursday morning at Masternick Memorial Health Care Center in New Middletown after an extended illness.

Grace was born on January 7, 1921, in Youngstown, a daughter of Emil and Bertha (Getz) Ranft, and was a lifelong area resident of Columbiana and North Lima.

Grace was a 1939 graduate of North Lima High School. She was employed by Strouss' Department Store in downtown Youngstown in sales from 19461948; Canfield Tri-Cash and Carry, which later became Busy Beaver Building Center as an administrative assistant from 19651985; Phil Buchanan Contracting as secretary from 1985-1986; and at A.S. Fricano Inc, C.P.A. as secretary in the Salem office from 1987-1993. She was also a Notary Public for ten years.

She was a member of Locust Grove Baptist Church, where she was a Deaconess, choir member, a member of the Ladies Missionary Group, and a Sunday School teacher.

Grace leaves to cherish her precious memory, her daughter, Sandra Noble of Streetsboro; her son, Robert W. (Mary) Noble, Jr. of Struthers; her grandsons, Justin (Debbie), Jeremy, Joshua (Meribeth), Robert Noble III, and Christopher; her great grandchildren, Julia, Dylan, and Olivia; and her brother, Russell Ranft of Columbus.

Besides her parents, she was preceded in death by her brother, Clifford Ranft, sister Ruth Parker, and half-brothers Roy, Earl, and William Winsper.

Services will be held Saturday, September 21, at Locust Grove Baptist Church at 11 a.m. with Pastor Robert W. Noble Jr. officiating.

The family will receive friends Friday, September 20, at Seederly-Mong and Beck Funeral Home in North Lima, 11500 Market Street from 6 8 p.m. and also one hour prior to the service at the church.

The Seederly-Mong & Beck Funeral Home in North Lima has been entrusted with the arrangements.
